Babylon 5, every couple of years. JMS, the show's creator, was the second person in the history of television to write an entire season himself- someone else had written an entire 8-episode season of Blake's Seven; JMS wrote most of season 1, nearly all of season 2, ALL of seasons 3 and 4, and all but one episode of season 5, and these were TWENTY TWO episode seasons. In the course of five years, he looks like he aged twenty, but the results are amazing; it's cohesive and well thought out, to a degree no other show I've ever seen has been.

Every time I watch it, I see something I missed before.
