What is your favorite VG (Video Game) song/songs?

Good question! Off the top of my head, I'd say Christopher Tin's Baba Yetu, which was used as the introductory music for Civilization 4. It even went on to win a Grammy, the only piece of video game music ever to do so- although curiously, it won the award in 2011, despite being from a game in 2005, so something weird was going on there. Plus, the lyrics are basically a translating of the Lord's Prayer, so the credits should probably list the artist as "Christopher Tin/Jesus", which amuses me far more than it should.

Beyond that, I've spent the past few weeks offhandedly searching for the sheet music to the Oversnow theme from Daggerfall. The Elder Scrolls franchise has always had good music, but that one especially resonates with people (although to be fair, many who praise it are talking about the "snow" theme, or the "Northmoor oversnow" theme, since the game has like five different tracks for snow, for some reason. The non-Northmoor oversnow music has what I can only describe as an air of anticipatory menace; it's like what "jingle bells" would sound like if it had been written in Hell. It's also single-instrument (aside from the odd bell jingle), so I'm seeing if I can translate it to the harp, where the contrast would be all the more interesting (I think).

The main screen music, and especially the ship design music, of Master of Orion 2 are kind of interesting on their own, but a friend of mine swears he always has the most interesting dreams when he falls asleep listening to them.

And I don't think any list of favorable video game music would be complete without mentioning korobeiniki, the east Slavic folk song wrenched out of obscurity and shoved into the limelight of fame as "Theme A" from the Gameboy version of Tetris.

I've never "played" a video game, and have no interest in ever doing so. But recently I've heard the music from a couple of "games" on TheDailyDoug music reaction channel, and I found the music from those particular two very good and interesting. I don't remember the names of those two "games"
