In theory. It's definitely a more powerful console, technically speaking. The support it's received isn't very impressive though, so I kind of feel like I wasted my money. The game selection kind of sucks (unless you include the PS4 games), and many of the AAA games need to be downscaled or they run like shit. There's really no excuse for a game like Elden Ring to be running at 15 frames on high graphics settings on the PS5. I bought the more expensive, more powerful console because I wanted native 4k graphics, but that's simply not what I got.

The coolest thing about the PS5 is that DOPE controller. Some devs have used those features. Others haven't.

All things considered, I would recommend you buy an Xbox over the Playstation. I'd say go with the Series S and buy Game Pass. The Series X is just so much more expensive, and the difference in graphics output capabilities isn't worth the expense since the games aren't running smoothly at the better graphics settings anyway.

The only benefit to the X at that point is the physical disc drive; the Series S is all digital. That's really not a problem for me though because of the online game catalogues. You'd have buy and resell a lot of physical games to make up the physical disc drive a cost-saving feature.

For exclusive games on ps5 yes, but that is it only. I don't think the price justifies them though. This isn't anything against the developers/creative teams, but it is just simply too much.
