Well, there ARE DVD's. Last I heard, the newest director's cut version was well over 3 hours long but, as far as I know, nobody has video of the entire concert, only audio. Maybe, some day! I know I've got the whole thing via audio.
I'd have to do a lot of digging to find them but I DO have a number of un-officially released video performances. Hopefully, someday, once my life gets sorted out, if that EVER happens, I'll try to edit as much as I have together.
Around the 45th anniversary, they came out with 3 formats of, SUPPOSEDLY the full Hendrix performance but, in each of the 3 formats they released (DVD, CD and vinyl) there were two songs missing!! So, in order to get his full performance, at least on audio, you HAD to buy all 3 formats!!
I mean, there were 2 songs missing from the DVD that were on the CD and vinyl, there were two other songs missing from the vinyl that were on the DVD and CD and there were two more songs missing from the CD that were on the vinyl and DVD! So, no single one of them actually WAS the FULL performance!! Even the 38 CD boxed set that came out for the 50th anniversary was missing at least 2 Jimi songs!! Thankfully, I already had them all a few years before that!!

My favorite part of Woodstock is Mike Shrieve's 4 minute 🥁 drum solo. I still watch it every now and then.
I had the biggest crush on him and I think I still do. I also have a personal story about the two of us, but I am just too tired to tell you about it right now.
In case you don't know who Mike Shrieve is, he's the drummer for Santana, but I am sure you already knew that.

It was possibly the highlight of the concert. And he was only 17 (as far as I know).

That was the last song he did before the storm hit. Richie Havens also sang it on day 1 but, he still hadn't learned all the words. although The Beatles didn't play the gig (John said they would if they'd also let Yoko do a set), they certainly were represented!!

Yeah! Of course, they turned him down! But, if they would've put her on after The Dreadful Great, nobody would've noticed! They could've put her on after after the Incredible String Band. Nobody stuck around for that, either. They could've gotten rid of both of the rotten singers at the same time.
I wonder if Jimi would've let The Beatles play last?
