What's the worst movie you ever saw?

I think I just discovered mine, The Newcomers, Kate Bosworth's movie right before she did Blue Crush. It is awful, in every way possible. She's lucky they ever let her do another movie after that one. Captain America Chris Evans was also in it, and Paul Dano, and the Serenity Now guy from Seinfeld.

The Shop Around The Corner 1940

My parents were always incredibly intolerant of anything remotely sexual in movies (even kissing, or someone being called "hot") but for some reason they decided to make the entire family watch this movie when I was around 13. This movie had quite a lot of sexual references including detailed references of sexual harassment, affairs, and two people alone in a dark room when one was missing clothing items. To make it worse, the plot and screenwriting was absolute garbage. Despite all that, my parents decided that this was an amazing movie and decided to force the family to watch it multiple times in the same month. Eventually there was a "revolt" and we decided to all get punished for "not partaking in family time." Fortunately that was the end of that.

Anyways, I opened up the history books there. Bottom line, I will forever hate that movie.

The Force Awakens.

It was the I was with my partner and kids, otherwise I would have walked out. What a disgrace of a Star Wars story. As soon as Kylo Ren opened his mouth the first time, I was done.

Never watched anything Star Wars after that again.

I love Star Wars... but the 'Old Republic' Era; the storylines are so much better than the drivel in the Star Wars movies... And the best part? You, as the player, are at the centre of it all. The Cinematics are stunning, just like you are watching a movie. If there are Cinematics featuring your Character, it feels like you are there.

Ten Canoes Had to see this at some art house movie theater when I was first meeting my lady’s ex-stepmother, who taught Film Studies at U of Michigan. I’m trying to make a good impression, and they flew us out there and were giving us stuff for our new apartment, so I had to just roll with it. Had just flown for the first time, and had been up since 3 AM, and this lady wants me to watch foreign films with subtitles? Fuckouttahere, lmao.  So I’m just in this theater literally falling asleep despite trying so hard to stay awake, forcing my eyes open, but my brain had just shut off and I’d get woken up by my head falling backwards😂 So all that didn’t help, but the movie was wicked boring too, so it was just a brutal watch all around that I had to stick out til the end😖

Battlefield earth.

I watch a lot of bad movies and like many of them. B movies can be fun to watch. I might stop a movie in the first 5 minutes because it just too cheesy but once half way in I’ll watch it to the end.
Battlefield earth has John Travolta, and forest Whitaker in it. I was expecting something good.
With this movie I did something I’ve never done before. I shut it off in the last 10 minutes of the movie. There was nothing they could do in that last 10 minutes of that movie that could have made it any better. It was the worst movie I’ve ever seen

It would take a while to decide on an absolute worst but the worst that comes to mind is Meet the Parents. The "dummy plot," which is a plot that relies on something or someone being unnaturally dumb, just irritates me and that was pretty much the whole movie.

I've watched a lot of bad movies, most of which I just stop watching Midway through because they're so boring or because they have concepts I hate.

The one that sticks in my memory though is Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. I watched that with my family and the kiss at the end had everyone cringing so hard. Unmistakenly one of the worst endings of a movie I've seen and the movie itself sucked all the way through.

One time, my wife wanted to see this movie set in a seaside town in New England, I don't remember the title. It was supposed to be a good romcom, so I went with her. My wife ended up not liking it, and neither did I.

Justice League

Took my nephew who was 8 years old to see it and he literally thought it was boring. I loved Batman and have seen every film especially thats live action. We left like during the second half of the movie and I just watched the movie when it was available on streaming. Movie felt like it threw Flash, Cybrog, Aquaman Origins in a 2 hour movie which backfired completely. Plus I didn't like Ezra Miller as The Flash which rubbed me the wrong way.
