Are there any new TV shows you are looking forward to watch?

Years ago there was always a slate of new TV shows that would premiere in the fall. There would always be 2 or 3 that I would be anxious to see.

This year I really have not seen anything that looks good. Maybe i am getting too old but maybe the networks are just airing shows that are cheap to produce so they are running retread game shows and stupid reality shows.

Not really, actually. My favorite show just ended this year, and my new favorite is a spin-off of it, but they dropped a season earlier this spring, so it’ll probably be 6-9 months before a new season comes out, and I don’t anticipate this show running as long because it’s kind of specific and there’s only so much writing you can do to keep it fresh. They already said “This is the end of Part One” and the end of the most recent season, which was the third. And the titular character has retired from hockey at this juncture, yet the show is ABOUT a hockey team, and I think there are only so many sports storylines you can have before it gets stale.

The chirps are all just so, SO good😂 Just wish there were more than six 30-minute episodes per season/year, but I guess good comedy takes time.

Otherwise, I only watch tv and movies because my lady makes me, haha

The only shows I'm interested in is the new season of Chicago fire, Chicago pd and Chicago med. I haven't seen any new shows that interest me, although, I haven't been watching any TV lately. I'm too busy with family health issues

I honestly can’t remember the last time I watched anything on broadcast TV. I do love “The Office” and watch an episode or two w/ Lee on Peacock every few nights. I’m also really looking forward to a season 2 of “Fallout” (when they finally get around to making a second season, as it's already been green-lit). But there’s just nothing worth watching on network TV anymore. That’s why we all pay for Netflix, Paramount+, Hulu, and Disney+ (Although I get that for free).

I totally get what you mean! It feels like the golden age of TV shows isn't quite the same as it used to be. But there's still some exciting stuff on the horizon! One show I'm really looking forward to is “The Last of Us” on HBO. The game was such an emotional rollercoaster, and from what I've seen, the casting and trailers look incredible. Another one that has me excited is “Squid Game: The Challenge” on Netflix. After the intense first season of Squid Game, I'm intrigued to see how they adapt it into a competitive reality series. Oh, and for a bit of nostalgia, “Cobra Kai” is coming back with more 80s karate goodness. It's always refreshing to find those gems amidst the reality show clutter. 📺✨

Nope. I rarely watch network television. When I watch something, it's usually something on one of the streaming services (Netflix, Paramount+, etc.) and often something from the past that I missed the first time around, or I liked it so much I enjoy watching it again.

nope, not a one. they lost me at least a decade ago with mindless violent dribble. I'd rather feed grass to chickens...

turn it off... in the idle time, since you can't sit around, you'll find something else to do.

If you get sucked into TV, it will be a total time waste.
