Anybody got any fave movies or tv shows they can recommend? Doesn’t matter got Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, Paramount Plus, HBO Max, Peacock, etc. Just need something to watch.

Old Star Trek.

At 61, I've come to realize now how good of a show it is. I loved it in the 1960s and 1970s when I was a kid, but now, in later life with decades of adulthood behind me, I've come to recognize so much more of the human dimension of that show.

Some of the stories may not be very good, but the acting, writing, and so much of the production is really high-quality.

Animated Star Trek, which was in 1973-1974 was a popular Saturday morning show every bit as intelligent as Star Trek, but it was cancelled because it was really more adult than most Saturday morning kids shows. Advertisers for those shows were cereal and toy companies and household products (that housewives/mothers might purchase), so animated Star Trek was not popular with them, so NBC (again!) cancelled Star Trek.

If you can, you should see old episodes of Star Trek BEFORE they were fucked-up... uh,... "remastered". "Remastered" - which is anything but remastered - has all sorts of new CGI replacing old footage. Often, the CGI is actually less realistic from a scientific perspective... and it's just crap often fucking with the colors.

Thus, see old Star Trek in its original form if you can. This may be very difficult. I've heard Amazon will sell the old episodes as they were. However, Paramount owns the rights to all things Star Trek and you can watch it all on Paramount+ albeit its the remastered horseshit versions.

Spanish teen mystery murder series. Set in prestigious High school. Just done watching all 8 seasons. It's really good. Lot of sex scenes too
