You still watch TV?
I have stopped watching broadcast TV years ago because it committed a slow suicide beginning with "Survivor".
But broadcast TV is "appointment viewing"; you have to make time to watch it at a specific point in time. Streamed TV is on-demand and my attitude is "I will get around to it" and I never do because I have more important things to do. Furthermore, unlike broadcast TV which is free, streamed TV I have to pay for. I like my money to buy food and utilities. We have some streaming services for my wife's sake.
When I watch broadcast TV, it's either a Sunday morning talk show, like Meet The Press or Face The Nation, or for live sports of major events. I will stream ESPN+ for that reason but that's only during NLL season.
I am coming down hard on TV a bit because the TV industry has alienated me and many people like me for 25 years. So, a lot of TV is shit now and it will only get worse. This is because once the networks began to abandon broadcast, they split the audiences so now audiences for shows are diluted and can't bring in the necessary revenue to warrant spending money on quality. Furthermore, they don't give shows time to develop and audience. So, the audience a show does have learns after a few times to not get invested in shows. Think about it like this: If you got a boyfriend and the relationship ends after 3 weeks and you keep having boyfriends like that for a year, you learn not to care about having a boyfriend - it just wastes your time and your emotions, so you just give up on it. A lot of people are getting like this regarding both streamed TV and broadcast TV.

*sigh* OK, I am off my soapbox for now. To answer your question: No, I have no thoughts on the show because I was not aware of the show to even give it a chance nor do I have the time to watch it. Of course, a major reason why I was unaware of the show is that I stopped watching TV so I can't see promotions for the show. The TV industry needs to start promoting in other ways like on phone apps. This question is the only reason why I know that this show exists.
This show is a spin-off of "The Big Bang Theory" / "Young Sheldon", both of which were well-done shows that I enjoyed, so I expect it will be a decent show.
I do have one qualm...
"The Big Bang Theory" was filmed before a live audience and that was necessary for it to succeed.
"Young Sheldon" was more story-oriented with multiple sets, so it was not filmed before a live audience.
This show will be filmed before a live audience so much of the action will be filmed in their home I assume. I am not sure if that will work out. For one thing, the actors from "Young Sheldon" who are in this new show were used to working without a live audience, so this will be different for them. (Not for Annie Potts though and probably not Will Sasso.) Who knows? Maybe this will be like "I Love Lucy". I am willing to give it a shot.
I'm shocked and amazed...
That there are still retards that watch television.
Get the fucking internet already and stop being a retard.
Had to Google it to see what it's about and I think the premise sucks and that the show won't last long.
I saw clips of Young Sheldon but I was more into The Big Bang Theory.

I saw them advertising this during football the other day. Aside from live sports…. who is network television FOR? Who the hell is watching “NCIS: Sacramento” and “Rescue Hi-Surf: We Changed It Just Enough So We Can’t Get Sued By The Heirs Of The Producers Of Baywatch?” Not surprised this one stinks too, haha
YES!!! This!!! I'm wondering the same thing. Who the fuck still watches television? I did it once like 2 years ago because I was stuck in a hotel room with nothing to do and no internet... and it was the most retarded experience I have ever went through.
@D_Bone_Steak I was so astounded that they got multiple seasons out of “Bob ❤️’s Abishola.” “Oh my god! This Mr. Belvedere lookin’ ass motherfucker is dating a Nigerian woman!” SO ZANY!!!🤪
Who green lights these projects and isn’t getting fired? Probably wealthy TV execs, I’m gonna kill my guidance counselor, what the fuck
I tried to watch this A&E real crime documentary. It was 1 hour long.
The first 45 minutes droned on about how these 3 dudes are white supremacists and killed the one gay guy because of hate. ... Then they finally got to the trial part.
Because the black guy had a Prussian Eagle tattoo... they were Nazis and turned it into a hate crime which took down the other two Mexicans involved.
Just imagine me there scratching my nutts 🤪 and confused why these guys are even Nazis. Then the reason they killed the guy, is because they were all fucking and the gay one was cheating on all of them with the other ones. He was a gay community bicycle.
So I guess these non-white Nazis that have sex with the dude got together and said they're sick of his shit and they ended him because Nazis hate gays. Then A&E tells me this is a real story based on facts.
Not to mention all the car and drug commercials I had to sit through every 5 minutes for about 3 minutes... these people are on some drugs that I'm just not doing.
Most retarded shit I ever saw and they take themselves seriously. A black guy and two Mexicans are white Supremes and they're gay as all hell, but white supremacy made them do it because they don't like the gays apparently.
I'm just like "uh huh" and turned that shit off and drank myself to sleep. What happened to normal television like that 70's show or something else that never made me laugh but there was almost constant canned laughter going off? Now It's 3 non-white fags that hate fags and they're Nazis. What universe am I even in?
@D_Bone_Steak They’re clearly out of ideas. But do ask your doctor about Ozempic to go down a pants size or two but make your face all weird. Looking at you, Tom Brady
😂 🤣 Those commercials crack me up when they get to the required side effects part. "Anti-suicide medication may make you feel suicidal" ... hilarious.
Sounds offal, can't stand the dudes over exaggerated "southern" accent, i hate the title, as if they think marriage is just a joke and your first one has to fail, also this isn't just a spin off, it's a spin off of another spin off.
Without having seen any episodes, the constant spin offs that I have seen prior to this hasn’t left me wanting to watch anymore spin offs. It may be that it gets better, and I hope it does for the people who worked on it, but it seems like there’s less ingenuity being put into making new and interesting ideas rather than just cashing in on the same thing over and over
I watched Bing Bang but barely saw Young Sheldon (saw a few episodes). I might have to watch Young Sheldon first. I don't know if this is something I'm interested in but I'd try any show and give it a chance.
I have not seen it, but I did see a promo during a football game
and I knew I would probably not want to try it, lol...
I haven’t seen it but I’m watching the new show on ABC Dr. Oz. It’s kind of the spin off of the old love boat but not as good. It’s more on operations and medical stuff but on a cruise ship.
Haha I don't watch TV but it sounds like if I decide to this is not the show to watch.
The fact that it's called their "first marriage" just leads me to believe it's some trashy degenerate low quality sitcom.
A series we didn't require they both ain't gonna pull the showby season 2 it will be cancelled.
Not something I'd bother to sample. Looks awful.
I haven't watched it and I probably won't. It doesn't look interesting to me
I couldn’t tell you the last time I watched a network-produced sitcom. Maybe Modern Family.
Not a fan of sitcoms at all. But the blonde will be click bait for lots of men, lol.
It's been ages since I've watched any "modern-day" TV shows. Didn't know there WAS a Mandy & Georgie. The last Young Sheldon I saw was maybe a couple years ago... on You-Tube.
If Mandy has superb spuds, I'd likely club her !!!
Never heard of it but it looks like a carbon copy of any other sitcom
Haven't seen it yet. But I liked young Sheldon which is the show it spun off from.
I always thought she was cute but that's not enough to interest me in watching it
This doesn't look like something that would interest me.
not big on sitcoms, very few have been funny
He was my favorite character of young Sheldon so it should be good!
I'm thinking very short lived series.
Could you have written this any more biased
I find it boring
I haven't seen it.
I've never heard of it here in the UK
It'll get here on E4, it the big bang theory spin off spin off
@jamesgoldman OK thanks
I've still yet to watch Young Sheldon.
I don't watch those.
