I don't play much video games but I was at a party and these guys were playing that fighting game that has pikachu and mario and a bunch of other characters lol. Anyways they were playing with bets and I was the "prize". Anyways some guy won and I challenged him to play against me and if I won I get to pick who gets me instead. Lol I had no idea what I was doing I just kept running and eventually it went to like overtime I hit him once and he died and everyone went crazy LOL

Lmao okay this is gonna be a bad moment. I remember playing Sega with my brothers and I was sitting on the top bunk of their bunkbed. My youngest brother, as a joke, pulled on my cord, yanking the controller out of my hands. Reacting quickly, I reached out to grab it and fell. I landed on a glass that went through my leg and cut all the muscles and tendons where it went in.

One of my most memorable gaming moments was when I discovered the world of Final Fantasy for the first time. I was captivated by the intricate, beautifully crafted characters and immersive storyline. I played it with my siblings during the summer holidays, and we were totally engrossed in the world-building and plot twists. It felt like living in an intricate art piece and sparked my interest in drawing fantasy characters! 🎮✨

Well, I’d say say #1 would probably be waking up Christmas morning, probably 1987 or 1988, and seeing the box of the original NES leaned up against the fireplace. I think I’ve seen videos nowadays of little kids receiving a console for a gift and going nuts, and I can assure it was the same 35 years ago. I was so fired up, lmao. I was still playing bum-ass Atari 2600 from the early 80s at that point, haha, I was sick of going to friends’ houses and playing Super Mario Bros or Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out, and then coming home and playing 8-bit games.

For in-game memories…I remember the first time I ever played NES at another kid’s house. We played the aforementioned Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out, and I remember getting my ass kicked by Glass Joe, who is the comically easy to beat Level 1 opponent. But everyone has a first time, I guess😂

GTA: San Andreas is still probably my favorite game of all time. 14 year old me wanted to be a Los Angeles gangbanger SO BAD, lmfao, and ten years later, I got to live it via simulation😝 And I remember one of the goals in the game was to take all of the rival gang turf for Grove Street (I’m still Grove Street Families 4 LYFE💚🔫), and you had to go to a zone and start shooting dudes in rival colors (FUCK The Ballas, we puffin’ green but SMOKIN’ purple) until it said “you have started a gang war. Then all these waves of guys would swarm, and you’d have to survive and kill them all. You could bring other guys from your gang to help, if your “Respect” meter was high enough. I used to carjack buses and bring like ten guys to let it bang for The Grove🫡

But sometimes, you’d still lose. And frustratingly, as I found out the first time, the story makes you lose all your territory and have to claim it back, so if you just went nuts like me and conquered everything before moving on, it was all for nothing and the story would force you to do it over again. So…At one point in the game, you can obtain a jet pack. And when THAT happened…. i figured out I could just start a war, hover overhead, there was a certain height where I could hit them and they could hit me, and I’d just be there like The Angel Of Death, lmao, wiping out an entire gang by myself, jet pack and double Mac-10s😂

And probably the most memorable thing was my freshman year of college. Nintendo 64 was the big thing, and Goldeneye, the James Bond game (we just called it “Bond”), came out and swept college dorms across the nation. The big deal was that it had a mode that was a four-player, human vs human vs human vs human first-person shooter. Like Call Of Duty, anything like that…this was the one that paved the way. And we played it NONSTOP. There would be a line to play it. Top two guys each round would stay, bottom two were out and went to the back of the line. I know like half a dozen kids who failed out in large part due to Bond, lmao. I remember all the guns and the levels and settings. “Proximity mines in The Facility!”, or “Rocket Launchers in The Temple!” “License To Kill Mode” was “on”, of course, for one-shot, one-kill. And you were a piece of shit if you picked OddJob because he was small and hard to hit. I always tried to be the Siberian Special Forces character, in the all-white. Not great for camouflage, but you’d die looking badass, haha

When recalling, so many moments ! Especially in the 10-20yo bracket, I've seen uncanny fascination, joyful pride, metaphysical expansion, unexpected melancholia, cuteness overload, pressure to overcome...

Joyful pride! When I finally kicked the joker's ass from Batman on the og Nes, PAL/EU 50hz version, the endgame was really tough, this final boss is such a PESKY MOFO. With the pressure from very few lives left, no time to register its pattern, if random or not. Surviving I don't know how the irritatingly running psycho unleashing hell on me?

Yet, delivering the final bitch slap after so many game over, death & retries! That was THE reward! Plus, a solid ending, with several visuals instead of the sad "thank you for playing". I had a friend spectating the event, congratulating me for beating the game, I remember this. Screaming like crazy for a fictional defenestration, I said fictional. From an outside perspective, it looks like a non-event but... I was inside and this was priceless.

SNES version of Final Fantasy 6: When you have Shadow "Throw" an Illumina weapon at Kefka, the game crashes and runs a debug code and outputs "Stack Overflow" to the screen.

It's the funniest shit I have EVER seen in a video game.

The second funniest is in the same video game, another glitch involving shadow. If you have Shadow in your party while returning from the Veldt, intentionally Knock Out everyone in your party except Shadow, then try to re-enter the city Narshe. When your party would normally enter the city, Shadow decides to LEAVE your KO'd Party, ending the game in another bugged and impossible situation.

Back then when me and my elder brother were younger, we'd play multi player on our PlayStation 2. I remember the games.. Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks, Mortal Kombat Deception, Rumble Racing, Burnout etc... Good old times. In the summers when we'd sit to play, that musky smell that'd drop down the room as we'd turn on the fan before starting the set up. I miss that period of my life so much.

Oh yees i got one there, on season i played battlefield in esport i achieved at the end of the season a 70% win rate with a friend of me and we got so badly bullied and got called out cheaters since we are girls but we always could proof we are not cheating we had such a good laugh in teamspeak it was so fun and sometimes i miss these days but then i look at the current esport and i know its the best.

My kids and I used to play Mario Kart when they were growing up. We used to have competitions... could each of my 3 kids beat Dad in a random Maria Kart race... they always won. Then, one day, I must have gotten lucky, because I beat all three of them. They were totally shocked!
