An MIT math professor poses a question to his students. There are three doors. Behind one door is a car, and behind the other two doors there are goats. He lets you pick a door, and you pick door #1. Before he reveals your prize, he gives you a chance to change doors. Do you stay with door #1, or do you change doors?
I Googled this, and mathematicians have been arguing this probability question for many decades. The teacher had a team of students, and they counted cards in Vegas. They were cleaning up until they got greedy and won too much.

I think I did see this.
The counters can't change their bet amount, because that would be a red flag. So when the count was optimal, they signaled for a player to step in. It was brilliant.
![Have you seen the movie "21" ?]()
The girl was a counter. The guy was a payer. When she crossed her arms behind her back, the player joined the table. He could bet huge, because he hadn't established a betting pattern. The people watching just assumed he was stupid.
When the guy sat down, the girl gave him the code word. If she said her drink was too sweet, the player knew the count was 16.

I think that they got greedy and ended up in the desert with two in the hat.
They won too much from one place.
Chill. So they got killed by the mafia?
It didn't have to go down like that.
But it did? I can't recall. Maybe I didn't watch all of it. I can't remember.
Just steal a little bit and move on to the next casinos. They didn't do that.
Greed is an ugly trait.
But I believe that casinos might have this trait.
They used to anyway. I'm sure there is still a faction of Italian mafia. But since Gotti they are mire low-key.
Do you stick to door number one, or change doors?
Number3
I say show me what I pick the instant I pick it so there's no time to switch what's behind there. I watched 'Let's Make A Deal' with Monty Hall.
The math guys say it's better to switch doors. I went to a casino to get rich. I waited until the table came up either red or black, many times. Then I placed my bet! Surely this matters. Right? I lost. I went home and Googled it. Apparently, they call it "random" for a reason. Random is racist.
The odds are with the house.
no i have not is it good
Very good.
