So scientists have successfully created lab made diamonds, they are the real thing, legit diamonds,(don't quote me on it but I think they use coal) they just compressed it in a lab rather than waiting a long ass time for them to form under a mountain, this can go two ways in my opinion the value can go to shit completely and diamonds will be cheaper or it will be seperated in a different type of diamond, making lab ones cheaper, the difference will all depend if they know how to see age in diamonds, if it's really old, it's the good stuff, if you can't see age then it's probably the lab crap, I think this is the only way diamonds can keep its value.

Diamonds that are natural with graded certificates will hold it’s value… anything without are just another little sparkling rock… no value.
lap grown will take over because it’s a little cheaper but marketing will make it more valuable for the general public. That’s what people will buy into
