Can you recommend a great movie?

Earlier today, a friend recommended The Six Triple Eight.

It's an excellent film about a World War II battalion of black women that solved a monumental logistics problem delivering a three year backlog of mail to the troops and back home. They did it phenomenally quickly and decades later were recognized for their service.

I'd be surprised if you don't shed some tears. I did several times.

I just watched "why him". Not saying it's a great movie lol. I haven't watched anything really since Deadpool and Wolverine. Which I doubt is your thing.

I liked a lot of Bruce Willis films around time of Die Hard, Sixth sense and Hostage.

I don't like films that make me cry! Well I do. But then I can only watch them once haha. I definitely don't need to feed into my sombre moods...

Fury, 1917, saving private Ryan, and apocalypse now, is considered a classic. Glory is really good, Starship troopers is a fun cult classic and if you have a taste for old noir movies from the 50, s like me there is "Nightmare ally, The third man, and Chinatown. (The last one is a fucking powerful film. I was messed up for a week after watching it.) Also, if you have not seen the original 7 samurai black and white film you have to before you die or you go straight to hell. It's a masterpiece! If you haven't seen the lord of the rings extended edition, you're also a failure as a human being they're the greatest films ever made. The extended edition is like switching highs from pot to heroin you can never enjoy the theatrical versions ever again.
