the gorge had almost everything to make a blockbuster movie and then they killed it with a love story for half of it. it wasn't even a good story. any of it. they ripped out the worst parts possible from an idea and said let's go with that directionless-ly. not the biggest disappointment of the year though. they don't stop.

i believe that. and i tried to give it as much credit as i could because there was a good idea there but they didn't trust it enough to follow through. and that totally explains why half of the movie is a stupid love story. they didn't know what to do.
