How do you feel about Phase 6 Officially being the FINALE of the Main MCU Universe?

As Kevin Feige has said that Avengers: Secret Wars will reboot the MCU, so a new universe and a new cast. Phase 6 will be the final phase of the main MCU universe

It's bittersweet to think that by Secret Wars, this 19 years old universe will be ending. But I'm very excited for a brand new universe with a new cast and way more story potential as the new universe will have The Avengers, Fantastic Four and the X-Men. New Steve Rogers and Tony Stark as well!

This is the last 2 years of this universe, it's all building to Secret Wars, this is finale and I'm so excited for it!

It's a bit sad, but I think it's needed. Perhaps secret wars may spur interest in it again, but a lot of the newer phases after the Infinity Saga ended have not had as much commercial success (which sucks for Thunderbolts because that one felt like a good return to what they did best).

I think the idea of a reboot is good in theory, but with a different Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, and Hugh Jackman not being Wolverine, it's gonna get hated on.

X-men came in too late. Some later heroes basically are forgettable or too unknown. I think it's just an overload to keep up with between the movies and the shows. It's probably best to let it go for a while and let people be happy for what it was rather than just continue to dredge up more and more obscure heroes and replace fan favorite actors/actresses.

I understand your point, but I think this new universe will be good. We've got confirmation that the first X-Men movie in the new universe is going to be directed by The Thunderbolts' Director, so that's pretty perfect for the X-Men.

It will be tough getting used to a new cast but I think it's better in the long run, different actors can put their own spin on these characters, keeps it fresh and keeps the MCU interesting.

That's true, but I think the main reason for this reboot is because it's too much homework for people to watch new Marvel movies because of the 17 years worth of content that's important to understand everything in the universe. New universe means a clean slate where people can just get on board right away and enjoy the new stories.

No that's not why. The reason for the reboot is so they can bring back the big money makers like captain America, ironman, hulk, thor, black panther, the avengers etc as all characters are either dead or the actors getting too old and the newer tv series and movies are not generating the revenue they should be given the invested money. But the industry is over saturated with superhero movies and cinema is dying a slow death. DC is trying to start again but I suspect they will get the same results
