Do y'all like having female versions of male characters or superheroes?

Have y'all noticed that with every male character or superhero, like Cyrax from Mortal Kombat, The Punisher, and Batman, or Hawkeye, a female version the character is always written for the male character or to replace the male character like in MK1, they gave us a female Cyrax when the original gender of the character is a male. I really don't get why these female versions have to be written for the male character or to replace him while there's female characters like Elektra, Black Widow, Black Canary, and Wonder Woman who don't get male versions or have the male versions replace the female characters. I really don't understand it. Don't get me wrong. I'm not sexist or anything. I just don't understand why things are the way they are when it comes to the gender of a well known male character either being written or made for the male character like Kate Bishop in Hawkeye or being replaced with a female version of the mal character.

We have Superman. We also have Supergirl but she's not seen anywhere near as much as Superman. I'm perfectly fine with there being a Supergirl as she is her own character. I would think it rather stupid to have a woman play the part of SuperMAN, at least as much as I'd find it stupid to have a guy play the part of SuperGIRL!! What are you proving? Okay, so a woman can play the part just as well as a man!! SO WHAT? MAKE HER SUPERWOMAN!!! Why can't you just make the woman, SuperGIRL or even SuperWOMAN instead of trying to make her play the part of a man? Or vice versa? If a guy wants to play the part of Supergirl, are you gonna make him wear a little red mini skirt and large fake tits and a wig? Or, does he just play it as a guy that HAPPENS to be called, Supergirl? Likewise, why have 6' tall people play the parts of dwarves when there are plenty of REAL dwarves that'd kill for the part? Why go to the trouble of making a person APPEAR to have both legs cut off when there are people that ARE missing both legs that'd love to play the part? WHAT are you trying to prove? Besides, NOBODY but the loony lefties is ever gonna go watch it!! You're gonna blew several million to make a movie that only a few thousand people are gonna watch just to prove a point?

Wonder Man exists ya know Wonder Woman but a man? But nobody cared. And thus the reason.
Women are much more popular because sex sells it's obvious and while their are women who like comics or such films but can you guess who the main demographic does? It's men and most men are straight, and most men like women characters because of that. And guess what? Women also love such women characters. So it's no wonder they do better.

Just wanted to add good counterparts make sense. I don't think a black widow as male would make sense since she uses herself being a woman as an advantage, plus Hawkeye and Winter Solider have a lot of overlap in her role anyway and are already known popular characters.
Plus she's literally Black Widow which male black widows aren't the same. And I know your point wasn't about her specifically but just wanted to say lol

Rn it's bc everyone is trying to be egalitarian but also bc they're trying to integrate the whole "they"/nonbinary thing. So there will be a few female/male characters who are suddenly homosexual/bisexual... there will be a new wave of strong female characters bc the tragic flaws of previous female characters was 'too feminine'... it's basically the beginning of the comic book apocalypse. Just hang on to your original comic books...
