The original. Sean Connery was critical to the initial success of the Bond films. The production was lush and fabulous, but Connery's Scottish nature and worldly sophistication as Bond was important. Author Ian Fleming originally did not want Connery for the role, but changed his mind after seeing the initial film "Dr. No" and then explicitly made James Bond have a Scottish background.

Pierce Brosnan was the guy in all of my 007 games and the movies I watched when I was younger. He always seemed like a better bond than Daniel Craig. The other guys I haven't seen much of, but I can't imagine better than Pierce Brosnan

I've never been a fan, the franchise has always seemed so silly to me. Bond spends his time chasing silly women around with childish names. I've wondered wtf goes on in Britain for them to approve of this juvenile crap. Bond today would be serious probably, but not in a good way.

Sean Connery was the first to play the part of James Bond IN MOVIES.

And he has had no equal since.

I don't think that any of the others hold a candle to his portrayal of the part. His class and style has never been matched.

Roger Moore was my Bond. I discovered Sean Connery later and i did enjoy his portrayal. I didn’t enjoy Dalton’s, and i outgrew the story by the time Brosnan took on the role.
I do like Daniel Craig. I just don’t much care for James Bond anymore.

Daniel Craig has always been my favorite, I've seen all 007 movies with him, and only 2 with Pierce Brosnan. Admittedly I have never seen any of the old movies with the other guys.

Sean Connery followed closely by Daniel Craig. To me they just did the best job to the source material in personifing the character. The others to me were lacking in some way or another.

Pierce seemed to encapsulate the whole of James Bond. Whereas Connery has the charm down and Craig has the grittiness. Those three are my favorites.
