This is one of my favorites! San Bop Pi Ti (spelling?) bySantana
It's mostly piano, with orchestral and voice accompaniment, a beautiful piece...
https://www.youtube.com/embed/qMuKw1NYpjsI have the sheet music and I'm trying to learn it on the piano.
@AviatorTom
That was lovely! πΉ I would love to see it in person. I noticed it made some audience members cry. π’ It must have sounded beautiful in person.
Thank you for sharing your song with us.
@sage2021 When I was much younger, it would have been one of these two...

That was very intense and gripped my heart.
I say that because of what the video was about. It's almost as if his guitar πΈ sounded like it was crying because of all of the sad things that we were looking at in history.
It really moved me inside. And you could tell that he was definitely one with his music he was making. He showed a lot of emotions and his guitar sounded like his emotions were coming through him making his guitar sound like how he was feeling inside.
I really love the electric guitar as you can already know, so I really enjoyed listening to him.
YAY!ππΌ
Thank you for sharing your song with us.π
You're welcome miss sage, well you have explained it in a awesome way, and it's true π
Thanks for the mho π

Gustavo Costa, playing Nothing Else Matters (great song on its own) on a Viola caipira, a Brazilian ten-string guitar with five courses of strings arranged in pairs.
Lifts it to another dimension.

What a lovely sounding sound from him and his acoustic guitar. It's a very pleasant song to listen to.
My ex-husband played his acoustic guitar all the time at home.
He was also in a band on lead guitar! πΈπΆ
I was so young back then, 20's, and I just didn't appreciate his music like I would now.
I really regret that.
Great to hear that. Do you still have his guitars? Any recording he made?
Incidentally, my father played classic guitar. I keep telling myself I should pick it up and learn. But utlimately I would like to play electric as well. My daughter plays the viola, but it's an instrument very similar to the violin. Nothing like this 10 string marvel.
Metallica the Call of Ktulu
Fun fact, it was played at my grandfathers funeral. The song sparks visions of vikings on the open ocean..
This is the S&M version which is my favorite.
my cat likes it too... she's flicking her tail by the speakers, lol
@NathanDavis

Right away I recognized it and thought it sounded like it was from the Olympics and as I kept watching, I was right.
Beautiful music!! πΆ

From a man playing the piano while smoking a cigarette, to people attending the Olympics in their Sunday best, my how times have changed.

Probably Sundown Turnaround by Ashbury. It is not complex, but it cheers me up.
@LiamJHayden
OMG!! I love, love, love this music πΆ and could easily listen to this over and over again! π I'm going to see if I can add it to my playlist so I can do just that!
Thank you so much for introducing me to a very touching song.
Electric guitar πΈ and

Another very emotional song that went right through me.
I was reading a few of the comments and I wish that I had some headphones and could have put them on and closed my eyes and just fall back into the sound.
Very touching song!

One of the first times I heard it, I was in the car with mom and told her it was the most beautiful song I've ever heard.
She probably didn't think so. She wasn't into electronic music and if it wasn't big band, Herb Alpert or Englefart Humperstink, she wouldn't like it.
Just reminded myself of this one. My fave of his.
