it could have been Madara from Naruto... and not because of what he represented, but how he did represent it... not the typical villain

he had a noble idea and a noble goal too... just not the best idealization nor realization of it, and at the end too much of good became something truly bad but so was his faith and life as well, and everyone else had to endure the worst... to find their best

none of that would have been, without Madara

but it could also be Yoruichi...

from inherited royalty and seemingly divine right to the best, she went to a life of service but not through submission but through freedom... and not sacrificing others but herself, for others

and acquiring her power and significance by her own righteous-self... a rebel at heart, but one with a cause... I always liked that a lot

I do like both characters, a lot... because they do represent sacrifice, but in slightly different ways... lmao

very hard decision i could say sasuke uchiha but he doesn't give me enough chaotic fun and where he ended up with is sickening to me (aka sakura and sarada)

could be alastor from hazni hotel but his asexuality and touch aversion is too stuck up to fully enjoy him.

my pp shun kazami is too nerfed and sidelined

I don’t have any favorites of all time that come to mind. I’m reading Apothecary Diaries right now and I like Mao Mao. I like her attitude and she is a bit ridiculous when it comes to the things that she is passionate about. Both the manga and anime are good

Ukyo Kuonji from the anime Ranma 1/2, maybe more so the original than the remake. She's great. She uses a giant spatula as a fighting weapon and calls everyone a jackass. She is by far my favorite character from that series.

He annoyed me too on my first watch but the second watch I realized he was so much better than Light.

Yeah. But some of the plot annoyed me. Like tbh. Light wasn't smart at all. The way they wrote it. He was really dumb.
And how quickly L figured out what was happening was murders because slightly higher number of prisoners died of natural causes throughout the world.
And he was like. Nope someone is murdering them.
And then why would you panic? Like there was literally no way he could figure out you were doing anything if you would've just calmly did one or 2 a week randomly.

Yeah Light biggest flaw was his overconfidence. He shouldn't have even started in his own city. He should have started in other places. That's how L caught on so quickly.
