An anti-hero is a main character (protagonist) in a story who lacks conventional heroic qualities like courage, morality, and idealism. Instead, they often exhibit flawed, selfish, or morally ambiguous traits, yet the audience sympathizes with them. Unlike villains, they may still do good, but often through questionable means or for selfish reasons.
