Is the Simpsons doomed after season 40 and a second movie?

There is a new movie coming out and its renewed for up to season 40. it was finished at season 13.

I only watch the nostalgia episodes from up to about Season 10 or less or so.

I'll still watch this upcoming movie though 😀 and I'll still watch whenever is their final episode

It’s become more of a cultural comfort show than a sharp comedy now.

A second movie and renewal to season 40 will probably keep it alive as a brand, but not restore the golden-era magic (seasons 3–9-ish). It’ll just keep slowly coasting, not dramatically crashing. 💛📺

it was finished after about season 13 and the first movie. the shorts, season 1-13 and the first movie are its best. everything else is a bad dream. I doubt it wil be renewed after that the cast are all in theier 70s now.

I've never watched it fully but yeah the first movie was pretty good as were the games... I moved on to Futurama, Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show once more on to Archer, BoJack Horseman and I even tracked down the Boondocks

I still watch American Dad occasionally, finished BoJack Horseman but do watch Futurama, the Boondocks and am watching Archer because I found it on Netflix
