It's Mikkelsen. Danish family names end with -sen but has the same effect as -son. Did you see the pictures of him posing with female fans like he's strangling them? I bet they were internally screaming 'choke me harder daddy' lol. I think Jennifer Connelly was an absolute looker, but I never really had a celebrity crush unless you count as a teen I was really into Selena Gomez.

Kate Winslet. I think i have a thing for English actresses. I don't know if it's because i have predominantly Scottish ancenstry or what. But i'm drawn to just about every character she plays. Even when she's the villain. She also pulls me into movies i would think i'd have no interest in. I watch it simply because she's in it.

Like the movie The Reader where she plays an ex Nazi concentration camp guard after world war 2 when they're hunting down former nazi's and rebuilding Germany. A young student (michael berg) played by David Cross (when he's young) and Ralph Feines (when he's older) is attracted to Kate's character (Hanna Schmitz) and follows her home. They eventually have a passionate affair and she likes when he reads to her. It starts off innocently enough when he's reading something he's passionate about. And she encourages him to keep reading to her. Of course being a young man he's driven by hormones and whenever they meet, before they commence with anything carnally she makes him read to her. As the movie progresses you see she's uneasy when they're out and about together. And she has him read menus and such. You assume it's because of their age difference. But she's uneasy because she knows she's a Nazi war criminal. One day she just disappears. And this movie which has a few flashbacks and flash forwards in it, flashes forward a bit to when Michael berg is a young law student observing the Nazi war trials. And they bring in Hanna. He finds out she was a camp guard for the Nazi's. We find out she would have camp prisoners read to her. And they would eventually be executed. Michael berg, who loves her realizes she made him read to her because she cannot read. When she's presented with her crimes she just agrees to them. Because she cannot read the charges against her. And she doesn't want to admit she cannot read. Because she agrees to the charges against her she has no real defense and is easily found guilty and sentenced to death. Michael berg is visually distraught while all this is happening. Because he loves her, while at the same time is realizing she exploited him, while at the same time pitying her because in a way she was just as much a victim of the Nazi's as anyone. As he's fully grown (Ralph fiennes) he gets to talk to her before her sentence (execution) is carried out. He gets to talk to her and he begs her to admit she cannot read to save herself. Maybe they'll reverse their decision and she won't do it. Because she'd rather die than admit she cannot read. He also asks her how she chose him. Did she love him? Or to her was he like one of the camp prisoners? Because she, like being a guard always held all the power in their, "relationship". He loved her (as much as a young man can understand what that means). And she held that power she had over him, even now as they are both adults now. He still feels that. And even in chains she still holds that control over him.

this movie really messes with your head. There is a very fine and subtle line between good and bad in it. Love and exploitation, victim and prey. And Kate plays her character to perfection.
