In spaceballs, how much would 1 million space bucks be in real money?

Like seriously, flying to another star system would be so expensive that rescuing the princess would cost more money than the entire GDP of her home planet for a year. To pay for the cost of fuel, the "million space bucks" reward in Space Balls would need to be the equivalent of like a Quintillion dollars.

I don't think even comedians understand how unlikely humans are to ever fly to another star system. Fake science fantasy films like Star Wars and Star Trek have "normalized" the myth that we're ever going to have that level of technology. There's a limit to everything, and the limit to human existence is probably right here on this planet.
