Who’s a comedian that can make you laugh no matter how many times you’ve heard the joke?

Some comedians are just naturally stupid funny to me.. Even if I’ve already heard the joke before, the delivery or their facial expressions will still get me every time.

I feel like everybody has at least one comedian they can rewatch over and over and still laugh at. Who’s yours?

For me it’s Robin Williams and Jim Carrey, every single time 😄

Robin’s stand-up and talk show appearances still destroy me, even when I know the punchline. His energy and those rapid-fire character switches are unbeatable.

Jim Carrey in “Dumb and Dumber” or “Ace Ventura” is the same. His rubber-face expressions and physical comedy just never get old for me 😂

That list is actually pretty long. And it relies more on delivery than joke writing. Some comedians are great joke writers but have poor delivery. Some comedians have great delivery but joke writing isn't really their strength like Brian Regan. His material is only a handful of good bits. But he's great at working a crowd. That's his strength. And this is why i say this type of a comedian. Because they may use the same material as you say. But they also identify when a joke is not hitting with a crowd, for whatever reason. And they make adjustments. It's old material but they may tweek it a bit.

But i think most importantly it's relatable material. For my money that's Chris Rock. You'll find me quoting his bits frequently. Because his comedy is like story telling. He takes you on a journey that everyone can relate to. So the material never feels old. Even thogh it is! It's old as both of us.🤣
