Opening night a few announcers mentioned seeing athletes from their home town and I wondered how many others are specifically watching to see someone from their home town?
Why do you care if a fictional character has a gender or race swap in an adaptation if the author who wrote it, even approves?
People are quick to jump on the word "woke" when it comes to fictional pieces, but there are so many where the author who wrote the piece, who would be the most obviously invested in telling their story the way they wrote...
