OK, I'm 26 and my little sister is 23 years old and she lives in the appartment with me. When she was 6 and I was 9, our mom died and our dad (who was a mysogynistic asshole) started drinking heavily and he physically beat her on a regular basis up until she was about 12 years old. I rember after he beat her she would always come to me for consolance and I would hold her and soothe her to sleep. Don't get me wrong, my sister is an incredibly sweet and caring person, but 6 years of continous abuse took a heavy toll, left her with severe PTSD and stunted her emotional growth (right now she has about the level of emotional development as a 9 year old). When she was 18, she moved in with me at my appartment and she's like my best friend in the world and because of her PTSD, she's an extremely affectionate person. Whenever we see each other after work she gets a long hug, she snuggles up next to me and we share a bed and cuddle together each night. We talk for a bit and I usually play with her hair or rub her back to put her to sleep. Because of her PTSD she has trouble falling asleep alone and even if she does she has nightmates. I know some people might find the thought of cuddling a sibling weird but I don't. Now I never got aroused but I think it's nice and relaxing to hold a warm person who you know loves you more than anything next to you. And when she's asleep and I'm holding her she looks so sweet and innocent and it makes my heart melt. But latley I started seeing this girl and as our relationship started to get more serious, I encouraged my sister to go to counseling and she did and she started taking anxiety medications. But my girlfriend said that if she's going to stay in a relationship with me, I have to tone down the affection levels with my sister. I told her that I plan on it but these things can't be fixed overnight, but she says I have to stop now or else she'll break up with me, what should I do?

OK, me and my sister were always very close growing up and she was always such an emotional, sweet and caring person. When she turned 13 I remember my parents were worried that their sweet little girl would turn into a hormonal teenager but that never happened. There were no fights and she kept her child-like innocence even in adulthood. She always did have a fondness for children and animals and would break down and start crying whenever she saw somone suffering. But 3 days ago (she's 22 now) she called me on the phone saying that the previous day she had been raped. I tried to console her on the phone but then she asked if I could come over to her appartment because she didn't want to be alone and "hold her". Now I know that you should avoid physical contact with rape victims whenever possible and I didn't want to run into any awkward instances so I just told her I couldn't because I had to take care of something. That night at 2:00 in the morning she called me again this time sobbing more heavily and asked If I could come over there, cuddle and sleep with the bed with her. Now that woul already be highly innapropriate behavior for siblings not withstanding the present circumstances. So I again just told her I couldn't. The next day she called me and this time she was weeping so heavily her voice was incoherent so I just hung up. She tried calling me once yesterday and twice today but i didn't pick up because I just don't know what to do and I'm not sure I can deal with her in this kind of state. What do you think I should do. Do you think if I just leave her alone she'll sort herself out? And do you think that she asked me to hold and sleep with her because what happened to her some how advereley effected her psychology? I just don't know what to do because I hate to think of her in this condition :(

I just got a new house that has a pool. There is an 8 foot privacy fence.

I pi have started to prefer to swim naked. This afternoon a couple female friends are coming over to hang at the pool. I am thinking of swimming naked but don't know if it would bother them. I am trying to get a gauge of what girls in general would think. I have a good body if that makes any difference?

OK, I know that it sounds weird but I said SLEEP, not HAVE SEX. Me and my sister live togather (she's 22) and she has generalized anxiety disorder (probbably coming from a dysfuntional family) and has trouble falling asleep alone and even if she does, she usually has nightmares. So I let her sleep in my bed with me and we cuddle. She likes to tuck her head between my chest, chin and left shoulder and hold her teddy on the other side of my chest. I wrap my arms around her and will run my finger through her hair and reach under her shirt and rub her back to help her fall asleep. a lot of people think that it's wrong but I don't feel any sexual feelings when we're cuddling, but feeling her soft hair and skin is very relaxing for me and holding a warm person just makes me feel better. For the lack of a better analogy, it's kind of like cuddling with a pet in that you feel relaxed but not aroused. What do you think, is it wrong that me and my sister do this?

Families have widely varying attitudes about nudity and partial nudity in the home. In some families, members are never seen in less than a bathrobe. Some families are okay with occasionally seeing each other in their underwear. Some families are okay with skinnydipping together. Some families are routinely nude at home.

When I ask about nudity, I am talking purely about nudity without any hint or suggestion of sexual activity, behavior, innuendo, etc.

In my own family, the boys were occasionally seen in their underwear but the girl was never in less than a bathrobe. If you think nudity at home is awful because of what it will lead to, consider that families which accept and engage in nudity at home do not have a higher rate of incest or sexual crimes against others.

I just broke up with her early afternoon because she cheated. The problem is I've always gotten along with her family and parents from day 1. I was closed to those people and they felt like a second family to me. I will miss them all.

I'm usually not into telling others personal stuff but what I'm concerned about is there might be a chance she might lie to make it sound like I dump her suddenly for no reason so they can all think I'm such an inconsiderate jerk that broke her heart when it was the other way around. More than likely as the days passed by all of them are going to start going what happened, why are we distant and why we broke up.

In my position would it be right to be honest and tell them briefly the reason I broke it off? It hurts more because I was so close to thinking of proposing to her towards the ending of this year.
