Here me out before you jump to conclusions:

Let's say a guy and a girl meet and hit it off and are really into talking to eachother. They laugh at the same stuff, have a lot of the same hobbies and interests, and etc etc. This lasts for quite a period of time (lets say 3 months). You could classify them as awesome friends! She is REALLY into talking to him and hanging with him fyi

Eventually the guy confesses to liking her, and she says she doesn't like him like that. It's safe to assume it means the girl doesn't find the guy physically/sexually attractive right? Cause what else is missing? Never heard a girl say "yeah me and him have too many interests together and get along TOO well"

The above ^^ was me 2 years ago, just wanted to ask cause I sorta remembered the event and I'm curious.

Girls who have gotten into relationships with guy friends they formerly friend zoned may also answer.

Yes you see the occasional hot girl or guy that's socially awkward, but my opinion is that if a guy is fun to talk to, but the girl can't see herself sleeping with him, much less kissing him, he's only a friend.

Btw I've been lifting for the past 9 months and have gotten friend zoned less and my social "Game" hasn't improved that much

Long story short: Was rejected by female friend, started over, and it's well known all at my school that I still like her

My friend who I considered a good friend, apparently only considers me an acquaitenance. He went behind my back to date her, and yeah they're dating

I told her it's effed up he did that to me, and she sorta defended him and brushed off whatever I said. I'm a bit mad at her. I'll admit I did say some bad things about him, and it DOES seem like she told him(and that's why he hates me). But me and her are best friends and have a lot of trust..

Should I be mad at her for dating him? Does this complicate the friendship with the girl? Should I be mad at her for what seems like she betrayed my trust and told him some things I said?

As we all knows, girls like to say "lets just be friends" to let you down... few however DO want to be friends. I'm gonna keep this short and concise :D

Long story short: Became best friends with this girl that rejected me when I FIRST MET her. She DOES genuinely care for me, listen to me, etc etc over our friendship of 8 months. Basically, she IS a true friend. She does however keep rejecting my romantic advances, and yes I did tell her I loved her down the road... which leads to my next point

Because I talked to her JUST TO DATE HER... and I can't and REFUSE to rid myself of my own feelings for her... I keep "breaking up" our friendship over and over... and today it happened for the final time I'm sure

I'm still torn though.. I can either "Settle" and be her friend, and she gets what she wants(my friendship) while I get nothing, or walk away from the friendship. The reason why I'm torn is that she IS a true friend... but at the same time I have my own needs too, I'm a guy too that's standing up for he wants by walking away

And yes I know, guys can be guilty of this too. Honestly though it's the worst feeling in the world when you feel like a girl is sugar coating something, or saying something to be polite.

It especially annoys me when I list reasons why, and they pick one of those reasons. And then I wonder, so what if I didn't list that reason? What would they have said? And sometimes I press for more that's NOT my reason, and they say something, and even then it still seems like they're being polite.

Is it just me or anyone else like this?

MADE UP EXAMPLES:

#1: Guy: Do you wanna go see a movie some time?

Girl: I have a boyfriend, sorry

Guy: OK so what if you didn't have a boyfriend?

Girl: I don't know then

(Seriously, why can't a girl just say No I'm not interested?"

#2:friend zoned Guy: So why didn't you wanna date me back then?

Girl: Cause I was seeing someone long distance back then, I told you that

Guy: OK, so what if you werent seeing someone back then?

Girl: Well I was also working things out with another guy who was long distance

(As you can see, she's NOT saying no, but she's not saying yes. So wtf!)

Is it leading on, if after you narrow it down to the last bitter point, they say yes? is that why they sometimes still answer indirect? Cause then it makes you think you had a chance if those other obstacles werent in the way?

So I'm really goofy and fun and energetic and honestly a bit loud too :/ but I'm super friendly too and get along with virtually everyone (unless they're just a douche). but I have a hard time getting girls. don't tell me that maybe its because of my physical attraction because one, girls have said I'm kinda cute and I'm strong and muscular too. weigh 155, bench 235 and squat 270. I'm also very intelligent too. ton of people have said I'm really smart. but my friends say that its because I'm too loud and goofy and stuff and I need to chill out a bit. Is that really the reason? Girls please help me out :)
