I love both of them. They have been there for me through the good and bad times of my life. While growing up they made it a priority to set aside Sunday for family time. They supported me doing sports, scouts and helped with academics when needed. I could go to a least one of them if not both to talk about anything depending on what it was. I could say so much more.

i can't speak for other people but i like my parents. kids today could see friends, or bf/gf as more important but the fact is. you can have lots of friends, and bf/gf can come and they can go. friendship could come and go as well, where your parents are the forever the same. with some common sense, you can tell which to value more.

My parents are good people. We don't always agree, and we've done more than our our fair share of arguing, but at the end of the day I know their hearts are in a good place. Even if their brains are a little off.

I love my mom, she is my best friend, we even have matching tattoos, my dad abandoned us for another woman, but my mom is amazing she is a father and a mother to us and she is amazing <3 God bless hear heart <3

I love my parents but they both have a lot of issues. My dad is a liar and a jerk sometimes. He has done a lot of things that are wrong including cheating e. c. t. He smokes marijuana and he seems to be a sexist. You can just tell by things he says and how he acts towards me and my mom compared to my brothers. He's a fake and has an oddball personality. My mom can be really stuck up and really harsh with her choice of words she uses. Her and my dad both talk to people like they have no common sense. They can both be really insulting. She is paranoid and acts like she is perfect and makes no mistakes. Over reacts about a lot of things. She can be really hard to talk to. I don't always have that great of a relationship with either one of them.

I love them both, but as people, I do not like them. Maybe my mom a little, but my dad is an angry arrogant alcoholic with a controlling problem and a closed mind.

Again, I love my parents, but if they weren't the ones who made and raised me, I wouldn't like them.

MOM because she simply has dedicated her 21 years to raising me and I'm grateful ! as a woman now I can see and appreciate her sacrifices ! I hope to one day ! be a great mother ! Dad well he left me when I was about 5 years old and simply never returned ! so I have no hate just love in my heart ! because withouth these two I woulnd't be in this world today ! good day !

I like them both; dad passed away almost 7 years ago, but he was a good guy. But my GF's family? Well, let's say my respect level for her dad isn't 0, but it's low. For many reasons. I appreciate what he did, and I'll forever be grateful he brought her into life, but there's levels of things I'm willing to accept and levels I'm not.

My mom is not very bright but does the best she can do with her abilities. She is now 86 years old so I really don't expect too much from her. My father died 10 years ago. He was a self absorbed serial cheater and I know that despite his character flaws, he had a few good traits, but I am ashamed to have had him as my father.

No, I love them because they're great. If not for them it's possible I wouldn't be as positive of a person as I am today, or even born for that matter. You can't love yourself without loving your parents, that's where it starts. No one's perfect but the pros outweigh the cons considerably

I like my dad more then my mom, this situation is complex.
My dad is much better then my mom, my mom plays mind games and annoys the fuck out of me for couple of days every month ( the period days) .
I want to be more like my dad.
However I actually don't like either of them, still I have to pretend to like them!
I can't go with my will!. . The day I become independent financially, I will snap out of pretending

I don't like my dad as much I try too but I can't. He really abused verbally and mentally. I had family members saying that I shouldn't be this way towards him but imagine if you were in position with your own father calling you scum and trash and hitting you and then after all that he try to say he love me but does not even try to fucking apologize. Then he went as far as to say that my gender makes me the weaker vessel because he read the Bible said that atheist were bad people and devil worshippers, said that gay people are just going through a phases and he fucking irritating. I remember I ask him this same fuck question I said what is you favorite book and he kept saying the Bible so I said something besides the Bible and he said there was nothing better.

We have had a tumultuous relationship. They kicked me out of the house at 17. My father was physically abusive to me and my mother was cold. They also had their good points at different times. I have gone for long periods of time without talking to them or seeing them. Now that I don't need them we get along better. The balance of power is completely inverted now and I try to understand their side as well as my own.

Dad was a great man. Super caring and a terrific role model. Everybody loved Dad. He died a dozen years ago.
Mom is a narcissistic ego-centric bitch. No one likes her.

I spend a lot of time with my mum. I barely see my dad since he remarried. The only time he calls is when he wants me to do something for him. I like my mum a tad more then my dad, but I really do love them both equally.

Honestly, I don't like them. But I've learned to live with them and coexist with them. Sometimes I really wish they had never met each other so I wouldn't have had the possibility of coming into existence into this kind of a miserable reality and terrible world.
