I still live with them. I get along pretty well with my mom but not with my dad. Its not that we have fights or anything but he's never really been a real father to me I guess. We still talk about politics and life in general when he's home at night but yeah. It almost feels like my mom was a single mother up until we finished highschool. I had school scholarships growing up so he didn't have to pay much for around 10 years of my tuition. Even when I would ask for school trip money he'd say he doesn't have money right now (when he was saving it all up in his bank account and making my mom pay for almost everything). He's basically obsessed with money. When I got my first job (I was around 17), I came back home after I got my first ever salary. When he came at night he asked if they had payed me and I said yes. He then outright just asked for the money and threatened that he wouldn't pay for my tuition if I didn't hand it to him. I kept a 100 bucks for myself and handed him the others. This had happened every month for around 5 months. As we grew up things changed a bit and now he pays for mostly everything in the house since my mom is paying for my sister's tuition (while he pays half of my tuition fees and I pay the other half). Unfortunately for him, it was never about how much he was going to pay for me or my sister at all. I just wish i had felt the presence of a father for one second during my childhood. My mom was there for me though. I will be forever thankful to her.

My father passed away in my mid twenties. But I have a goodcrelationship with my mom. But when you're young and into your young adult life you go to your parents for advice. But as you get older you start realizing your parents are no longer as wisdom filled as you once did. Then the dynamic begins to change as they start to lose their faculties. My mother is in her upper 70's and still able to take care of herself. Luckily there's 5 of us and we all live within driving distance to keep an eye on her justvto be on the safe side though.

Yeah, me and my parents have a good relationship; I can't complain! Both my parents are alive and well (thank goodness). I get along with them for the most part- though like all parents, they definitely get on my nerves sometimes. Even at my age, they still see me as their youngest, so they tend to be overprotective of me at times.

I talk to both of my parents regularly: I see my dad almost every day since he lives a short distance from my house. We're actually going to be grilling tomorrow together :)
And my mom calls me at least once a week to check on me and ask how I'm doing.

I speak to them every week, and visit them several times per month. Never in conflict. I had a very good childhood, with good values growing up. Though they lacked the ability to encourage me to do the things I was good at. My father could be very stubborn at times, and my mother was over-protective. But this gave me the opposite perspectives from a two-parrent home, which has been very usefull to me. My father taught me how to think critically. I couldn’t ask for a better childhood.

Got along very well. It was touch and go when I was really little but as soon as I realized how much my mom really cared for me it was great. We became very good friends. A little later with my dad.

I don't get on with my family they don't care about me and they don't seem to know me out even support me. I'm not sure they even know what they do but they make me feel crap about myself.

It's why because I still have to live with them I don't often leave my room.

We get along good. I see them about once a week. I moved about 10 miles away when I got my apartment after high school. My dad gets to visit more than mom but they both come over when they can.

I still live with mine. I have a complicated home life that causes me to be a bit of a pushover for them. I literally do nearly EVERYTHING they ask. Even though they could literally get up and do it themselves, they get me to fetch and because I hate seeing people angry or upset with me, I do it. But it's more because it makes it easier to take care of two dependants that need lots of care. So... toxic but love them

I bet your Mom is still sexy.. she would have to be where you received your abundance of sexual appeal. It would always be harmless but I would likely have a crush on your Mom forever… would that bother you or could you overlook it and recognize it as mostly harmless…?

Don't know my father much but I do show him respect when I do see him.  With my mom, well she's my mom. Growing up, yelling and screaming lol... now it's fine. I love my mother.

i get along with them mostly, i guess i try to be civil with them, they are older in age so i guess i try to spend time with them and see them and just be nice to them. since i would feel bad if we were mean to one another and they passed away with me being not the best son to them.

My dad divorced with my mom when I was 13 and he refused to even see me when I wanted to visit him. I get along with the rest of my family though, including my sister, current step father and step brother. I moved out of the house when I was 19 and I have lived with my new roommate, which is a girl, for years. We’re almost just as close.
