I’m going to try and convey this in an unbiased manner.

A relative has turned down countless job opportunities and says he’s going to be a currency trader or something like that online but he’s always just earned a meagre income from doing this letter writing work online. I had a job lined up for him with a company down the road which was his dream career but he turned it down and I didn’t push the issue any further but I found it strange - why turn down a job you’d like to do for no good reason?

He refuses to apply for social security payments and when I ask him to contribute around the house he refuses. He washes his own dishes but refuses to wash other people’s dishes even though other household members often wash his

He refuses to even get an iPhone and pay for Uber eats things for himself. He also constantly complains about every little thing and at any chance he gets he talks fondly of high school. He refuses to seek support for his anxiety and instead tells me about his problems even though I don’t want to hear it. If I say please don’t tell me your problems - he becomes argumentative and says “well I don’t wanna hear yours!” And starts swearing

he's had multiple opportunities to seek support and do things like the job I mentioned before but he turns them down. He spends most of the time in his bedroom. When he uses the shower he spends a long time like 20 mins in there with the door locked

sometimes I wake up early and I cough a little and I hear him sighing and complaining about me coughing under his breath

he is extremely religious and if I say something which he thinks is critiquing the religion he starts shouting at me and tells me to not blaspheme his LORD and things like this but he can belittle my political beliefs as much as he likes and I say nothing

Is he selfish and is what he is doing to me bad? Thanks

Are a lot of them having their first kid in their early 20s, later 20s, or even later?

I had tried it when I was younger as I was encouraged to by my parents. When I said whale meat tastes nice, she said oh dear and said she’s disappointed that I know that.

I feel kinda worthless right now... and I feel a bit unworthy of my friend's attention. My friend and I met on the internet like 8 months ago. Started talking on a website, and then we eventually started following each other on our personal social medias (that's where we talk now).

My friend has left me on read a few times lately. The first time seemed to have just been a misunderstanding (but I got replied to half a day later). The 2nd time, my friend was probably just busy because I got a response to my text like 2 hours later. And this is it, I got left on read yesterday. Still haven't received a reply and it's been like 15 hours since then.

My online friend and I have some hobbies in common but now that I can see their social medias, I realize that it is a much different person from what I was expecting. My friend's popular, goes to parties, spends a lot of time outside... while I don't do any of these things and frankly, I'm quite a lonely person or, in other words, a "loser". And I don't know, it makes me feel unworthy of their attention. I always feel anxious whenever I send a message (I'm afraid of bothering/annoying my friend due to the push notifications). And I feel unwanted. Maybe my friend still cares but just takes me for granted, I don't know, but I feel very sad about the whole situation.

So should I stop texting my friend and see if they ever initiate? Maybe my friend will miss me someday (since we used to talk almost everyday for like 6-7 months). But well, my friend did initiate a lot of times in the past (on the other website that we used to chat). But not yet on the social media (though, we have been texting there for only a few days).

My stepmom and my dad were arguing over some personal issues and I was feeling stressed out. Something about junk food, cigarettes, her family, she yelled very badly at my dad, she said that he and I need to f*** off and leave, etc etc etc. My dad said that I need to tell her I was sorry for what I said, even though I already apologized. My dad accused me of being "smart" with her even though I was literally stating a fact and wasn't saying it in a negative tone. I hate being around people who always think words matter more than tone, action, context, etc. I get influened very easily by these people.

I am on vacation with them but I will be leaving tomorrow to return to my mom's house. My mom found out that I called 911 becaue I am currently on my stepdad's phone bill line and he found out about it and talked to my mom about it. She and my dad told me not to call 911 anymore; luckily the police didn't come.

I feel not just very bad for my dad but very regretful of planning this vacation s**t in the first place. I've gained hella weight, my dad keeps telling me I'm not fat EVEN THOUGH I ACTUALLY AM, no girl f***ing wants to date me even though my dad keeps calling me handsome and telling me not to believe what people on Photofeeler say about me. Every non-bot girl on Tinder and Bumble ignores me like I am a subhuman buttugly doofus.

I am not a Joe Rogan or a Brad Pitt... I am just an average guy with a mathematically intelligent mindset. I have autism, my stepmom literally tried to bring me into her aggressive conversations with my dad, she yelled at my mom over the goddamn phone, and I am so f***ing pissed that my dad would say that *I* offended her.

I told my dad I wouldn't apologize, and when he told me to do so, I called my mom and then the police. I didn't tell my dad or my mom this, but I just wanted to place my stepmom in jail for the way she had been treating my dad.

What kind of text is better to send to an online friend?

I don't want my online friend to get annoyed of me so I don't text them everyday (I mean, we text on a social media now so they receive notifications on their phone whenever I text them).

Would an online friend get annoyed if I just text them "Hey, what's up?" or "How are you?"? I mean, would that just seem clingy?

Or would it be better to actually send them memes or cool stuff, etc. And then a conversation could develop after, y'know?

What should I do? I've recently started texting my online friend on a social media (after being friends for 8 months) but I sure don't want to seem clingy or annoying (since they can now receive push notifications for every message I send). I just wanna respect their boundaries (but I don't wanna ask if texting them every day or every 2 days would be too much because that would be a bit weird in my opinion) haha.
