When a friend of yours suggests you check something out and you say you will do you actually do it?

For instance they suggest a movie, book, tv show, video game or any other piece of media to you and you say you will. Do you actually check it out?

Sometimes i do. Other times i forget about it

Most of the time i really dont even if i said i would

If i say ill check something out that a friend suggested i will abd if i know i won't i say ‘no thank you’

If it sounds interesting I will, for most things I almost always do. I prefer word of mouth over any thing else to know if something is good or bad. Be it a business, a movie or whatever, if someone I know that knows me says to check it out, or don't cause they suck. I take that as high value to either check out or not check out.

Yeah cause I'm always the person who recommends something and I know nearly nobody checks my stuff out so I know this pain and definitely check out what others suggest me but If I don't like it, I stop after a few mins

My sister has been trying to get me to watch something on Amazon Prime for probably a year. Can't remember the name, but the main character I think is the devil. It's supposed to be pretty funny.

I think you if you neglect to follow through, you are setting yourself up to lie, or be embarrassed 😁.

if it is a task that is through time-consuming or arduous for you, just be honest and tell them so.
