Is 26 too late to have children?

I'm 19 right now and going to university until 23, I want to be fully moved out whether it's a rented house, or a mortgage doesn't matter much but what I'm saying is I want a stable foundation and a job before I decide to have a child with my partner, which will probably mean children at 25/26.

The age of 26 is a perfectly fine time to have children. You’ll have some time to develop more maurity during your college experience and adult life. You and your partner will have time to talk about with the challenges of parenting maybe for the both of you as well as develop some good habits that will make accepting children into your world easier for you.

You should probably have kids before 26 when you're young. The younger you are when you're pregnancy, the less likely there's going to be complications or anything going wrong with the baby. Plus you can fit having children with your schedule more easily if you plan for it, it's not like babies and toddlers are going to remember everything or require as much as older children. I've actually heard the opposite, that the late twenties is an excellent time to have children, and the chances of becoming pregnant are 92%, and rates of miscarrying is low.

That's about right. You can realistically push it to 30 if needed.

I'd rather not, but my mum had two of us in her thirties and said it was much more enjoyable than her pregnancies in her twenties. I guess it all depends on how I feel when I get closer to the age.

I think ideally early 30s is a good age as it lets you get a career, do some traveling etc before you settle down.

Maybe it is, I don't even know. I see some men saying women hit the wall at 30 (which is incredibly nasty), so that makes me believe 'Ok kids at 26 ish?' then there's some who says 27+ is still young, and do what you want to, and then have kids at 30.

So really I have no idea how to gauge it. I guess it all depends how me and my partner feel at the time.
