Opinions on midi skirts?

I really like them but I don't think they would look good on me. Too curvy for skirts that are not tight. But I really like them on other people!

Really? I've got bad experiences with skirt that are not tight. Like skater skirts and dresses. They look like 'that girl who tries to look cute, but is completely failing'. They look very awkward at me. Maybe I should try a midi skirt then sometimes.

They're a little longer so they look nice, plus I have big thighs and it does a nice job hiding them. I'm skinny though my hips are curvy and thighs are big. For that combo I find midi skirts perfect

I'm quite tall so I look a little strange in mini skirts without tights or leggings.
