Seriously though, I don't notice women's footwear much! -- I just like legs, honestly. :P So, the ideal look to me would probably be when a girl wears a short skirt or shorts, paired with footwear that doesn't go above the ankles, lol!

But if most or all of her legs are covered, I DO think that over-the-knee boots can be pretty eye-catching in terms of style! They definitely tend to be more interesting-looking than just wearing common pants and shoes.

Cowboy boots are comfortable, agreed. What's out there are too many drugstore cowboy styles + Been there done that to death here in Texas & with (stupid) horses.
Over the knee does look hot but I want to bend my knees w/o complications (too many to mention) and show off my knees (and more skin).

I bought some cowboy boots when I went to Texas but I'm from the Uk so you don't really see them here. And I like soft style thigh highs, they let you bend your knees :)

I personally like the look a lot, when done right. Skirt or jeans work best. Dress or shorts don't work as well. Always exceptions.
