What are your thoughts on rompers?
by the way, I can't remember the asker but this question was inspired by a Q. about jumpsuits.
Some of them can be cute. I've owned just one that has been sitting in my closet for what must be 1-2 years now, not yet worn, because the whole idea of how I'd have to get at least half undressed just to go pee, on top of concerns that I'd struggle with doing the zipper in the back all the way up (possibly breaking off the zipper tag (?) to boot) scares me off of wearing it out every single time. 😫
😂 Oh, lord.. the bathroom struggle. Mines has an elastic waist and a wide neck area so it's pretty simple to pull down but it's still awkward to undress in a public restroom. My next romper like ensemble will probably be those matching tops and shorts lol. rompers are cute but they can be inconvenient.
hahaha damn. I should've thought that through before buying my first romper, lacking an elastic waistband and paired with a zipper in the back. That's a good idea to just do a faux-romper with matching tops and shorts or maybe even implement a new design that I've had far too many pretty lengthy discussions with friends about where there's basically a zipper/flap on the bottom, onesie style. (though of course done a little less obviously.)🤦

Yo! You should do it! I didn't think about the bathroom dilemma when I bought my romper either. My duh moment happened when I needed to use the toilet at a family party. It got me thinking about how much my 1 piece bathing suits used to annoy me. You should launch a "toilet friendly" design for all 1 piece outfits. I'd definitely buy it.
You're pretty tall tho, if I remember right? Have you actually found rompers/playsuits/jumpsuits/bodysuits that don't give you a continuous wedgie from the moment you put them on until the moment you take them off?
At my height, I just don't even.
@redeyemindtricks yup, I'm 5'10" (probably closer to 5'11 but I haven't measured myself since my last major growth spurt so who knows). I only have one, yet to be worn, from Forever 21 and if I remember correctly from the single time I ever tried it on, I don't think that wedgies were an issue? haha it's a loose-fitting one, kind of drapey like the one in the first pic versus the last two. Neither of which I'd ever dare to wear out so maybe you'd have a better time evading the dreaded romper-induced wedgie if you tried out one with a more relaxed fit?
ahha I'm mostly asking for science at this point... believe me, the last thing I need is even more clothing options. lol.
but thanks for the data point -- Will keep in mind if my oldest daughter eventually gets to be my height or close, which is looking likely.
I only have one, but they're the best thing ever. I want some dressy ones because you can dress up and look like a lady, but you don't necessarily have to sit and walk like a lady, both of which I struggle with wearing dresses. I'm trying to get one for a formal at the end of the school year.
All very good points. They can be used as dresses, shorts/shirts, and you all you have to do is slip into them put on a jacket and shoes and you're set for a multitude of occasions.
I know! All of those girls look so put together with very minimal effort. And a lot of them have pockets, which is always a plus.
lol yes! It's a relief for my lazy behind.
I love play suits! The only negative, and I have been caught out many, many times is

I think they are a cool fashion choice. I know that if I was a chick that would be my style. I like ones like this www.mlo.me/.../201607220913456358981.jpg
I love the first one. Less keen about the other two. As with most clothing, it'll come down to the girl's body.
Thanks for most helpful. Did you get one of these?
You're welcome :) . I've had one for years.

I love rompers but I don't really like these ones you posted, no offense...
I meant "the ones you posted" not "these ones u posted"
Lol, that's okay. I couldn't really find any photos that I would consider "my style" on google. I have 1 but it looks nothing like any of these.
You have to have a very particular set of proportions to pull it off. If your hips are larger or your chest is larger, they don't usually look so great.
i like them when they're flowy
i prefer minidresses though
It's very rare that they make good quality ones. the pictures you show are amazing but the reality of it is sears clothing looks stupid on people.
they were a popular clothes item for kids when i was a kid
of course, the way they make them, i wouldn't wear them now
i find them impractical
Was it me?
And I love rompers, but if I wore one, people would get the wrong idea (the shorts part is often waaaay too short on me)
They provide zero easy access to the goods.
Tag um and bag um ladies.
Well.. you can take comfort in the fact that our access is just as limited as yours.
There is no comfort, its just no fun! D:
Obviously, you don't get much out of these tiny onsies. But they're really convenient outfits and airy in the hotter months. (until we need the restrooms).
I think for around the house especially if you don't have kids, and with some of the designs not much of a chest, they are good and look comfortable and make for a good romp.
I actually kinda like em now that I think about it.
I do rather like them - shame more girls don't wear them.
I love them and my boyfriend said he finds them sexy.
The first pic clothing is nice but what the fucking shit are those other things?
lmao. Yes, I agree these are all poor examples but I was pretty lazy with my google search. I was just trying to give people who may not know an image of what I was talking about.
They are super cute on those chicks but I wouldn't wear them.
I don't really like them. They look good on me, but not my thing. Jeans and a t for this lazy chick
I think they work on some and not as much on others. But i love to wear them, they're cute
Must be hell to take it off to take a dump when your stool is nearly coming out.
lmao
I own one romper and love wearing it on a sunny day
Eh... Too mainstream for me but look cute on other girls. Cute as in some what slutty :/ I dont like the short stuff. But guys do xD
Extremely impractical.
I like the first one. I've never seen a woman wear one.
