Are brown eyes a turn off?

I sometimes think that almost everyone considered pretty has blue or green eyes.
I see people with many hair colors, skin tones, but almost always they have light eyes. Are born eyes such a bad thing?

I fall hard if a (at least moderately attractive/average) guy has brown eyes. Brown is earthy and warm, and brown eyes, to me anyway, seem to be more expensive and easier to look into.

I just want to see how it compliments the face and if they are used the way I like. As in conveying a message, but that typically uses your eyebrows too.

No, they aren't. I find them to be pretty and alluring. Also, where I'm from, brown eyes are the norm.

I have dark brown eyes and some have complimented them, some haven't. I think it depends on how the whole face looks
