I miss the 80's!
It was my fave accessory! After being OTR Driver over 15 years, a trailer off-load accident, bilateral knee surgeries, over 6 months being bedriddren and ending up 596#, they wouldn't fit anymore. Now, being back down to 123#, I absolutely LOVE wearing them again. Great conversation starter pieces. I get a lot of compliments for the diff ones that I wear. I get date offers, but, they get gently turned down, as I know Hubby would be more than a tad upset 😡 however, for the life of me, I truly cannot remember the meaning of wearing them besides we liked them and most girls couldn't wear them. I remember it was extremely fasionable to wear the most extremely eccentric , screamo-loud-type graphics (majorly in your face, screaming, loud, graphics!) I miss those days, want to go backand redo it again, mostly uz just loved school. However, the way schools are now, I don't wish that on anyone! '80's Rite of Passage' I turn 50yrs, this July, but the mileage on me has worn me down more than the age ever will. Bandanas are still an Awesome Accessory!!! Don't knock stuff til ya try it.
