How many pairs of stockings do you have in your drawer?

I have 42 "intact" pairs of stockings and almost half of them are over 100 denier wool/cotton tights for winter... :)

I don't even want to count - plenty pairs in black but I've got one pair in grey, one pink and glittery and one that's green and black stripes (the latter 2 I use for fancy dress parties!)

I hear you. It's the exact opposite of where I live. In Summer, it's bare legs with either shorts or skirts for me. In the Winter months when the temperatures are milder, I wear tights but still over flip-flops or sandals, as my feet need to breathe, lol.

I have lots of black tights & a pair of Gary cable knit ones & a pair of red ones & a pair of blue ink color. Most of them are black one pair is a 100 % denier the other is 120 denier & My new pair is 90 % denier. I like wolford tights which I have two pairs. One pair of Gatta those are 120 denier ! They are black. I have hue brand which are not bad.

zero. if stockings look just like what they do in this photo,
then don't like them. i hate form fitting clothing. not only that,
clothing that literally sticks to you. and looks like in this picture,
those stockings look like glue dried between two white
sheets of paper. my stlye for comfort is loose, soft, and therefore
comfortable

I had only a few but I was such a hasty walker and too active to handle stockings carefully. As in, if I were doing something I pay full attention to the task, then I am really lightning fast in thinking and acting , I don’t pay attention to my stockings’ integrity. I have torn so many.

I just gave up buying or wearing them, unless it was required such as for dental school bench tests.
Only then plus most silk ultra sheer.

Clear nail polish. Carry it all times if you get a run paint some on it. It'll keep the run from getting bigger.
