I think they tend to be vibrant colors in my case. I'm trying to go through my memories of clothes that were really appealing to me and most of them were vibrant colors: a purple here, a pink there, a sky blue there, maybe even yellow here. That's not without the bias of hindsight. I recall them because they were so striking and appealing.

But of course, I wouldn't just pick one color. That depends on what matches the girl's body and skin tone. But the most memorable ones to me always had that sort of striking and vibrant appeal. They stood out. It wasn't like some simple black dress (although I like this a lot). It was a color far more eye-catching and memorable.

How about a purple satin blouse with a yellow leather skirt?

That sounds pretty striking. Most of my most memorable cases were like one-piece dresses though, often a bit on the snug side. My first girlfriend in the US was black and she wore a sky blue tight dress with lacing around the cleavage area (not flashing cleavage so much, but hinting at it) and the color really suited her skin tone. Then I also remember like a French girl I dated in Japan who wore a yellow dress when I first met her. She really stood out of the crowd with that yellow dress over a fair skin tone but somewhat tanned. My wife wore a light pink dress (like a pastel pink) when I first met her, and I remember that and how good she looked in it.

I used to have a silky polyester yellow shirt dress when I was about 20 and I loved it. I need to buy a new one!

It depends somewhat on the environment as well. Like here in Japan, the vast majority of girls in the environments I hang out in wear black dresses: simple and looks good on just about everyone. But you see a bunch of black dresses and a girl in, say, a neon yellow dress and she really stands out. You can't help but notice.

You might find a balance. There's like "ordinary" and "extraordinary". I remember the extraordinary ones because they were striking and had a magnetic appeal to my eyes. I don't remember "ordinary". But of course if you push that too far, it might start to look silly.. but it helps in my opinion to push a little bit.

That would definitely be eye-catching! :-D If you can handle the attention... hmm. Maybe still not really my type. I like a girl to stand out but maybe not that much!

There is a music video popular here where I really like the girl's yellow dress. That might make some sense. It might be a bit revealing but I'm talking more about the color and how it suits her skin tone. A less revealing version would still serve the same purpose in my eyes. But if she's in a restaurant or bar with a bunch of black dresses, she'd definitely stand out, and more to me than that friend of hers totally flashing cleavage.

But that girl's yellow dress will probably burn into the guy's memories in a good way. It's striking. It makes an impact. Of course, someone could dress in a clown outfit and burn into people's memories that way, but probably not in a good way. So I think there's a balancing act there. But a beautiful color on a woman in my opinion is a memorable one, and not just on its own, but how well it matches her body.

I'm not good at this stuff! I can just cite memories and be an old man that recalls dresses that really burned into my memories where I couldn't take my eyes off of them. But they were never a dull color like grey, or black, or even white. They were fairly saturated with color. And my fondest memories is when I entered a place of whites, blacks, and greys, and the girl was the most colorful one in the room. She was the one that stood out.

It might also be my personality. I'm not sure if you'd appeal to all guys listening to my thoughts. But I like a girl to be fairly striking, and memorable, with her choice of color. I also like to be the same way. My favorite t-shirt is pink! :-D



But I might like being a little bit of a center of attention, and I like standing out. I don't want to blend in. I don't want to be invisible. And I like a girl who is the same way. I am not interested in orthodoxy. Beauty in my opinion stands out. It doesn't blend in.
