Absolutely NOT if you want to keep your job let alone career. You at least wear something under it like stockings. It is unprofessional and you will be judged for it. Remember what you do now will follow you in your career for the rest of your life. Which can blacklist you from future job prospects and hiring you. It's not that they don't banned you from wearing it. But the message you're sending to not only to your customers, your co-workers and your boss, but your entire career. You can also prevent good people from wanting to work there because of it. And it can hurt the business as well as the company.

I don't think it's the usual, but I'm sure you could find ways to make it classy enough go wear in an office building.
Depends on the office. Unless you know for sure, then it's better to err on the side of caution and not wear it. Due to the nature of my work I've worked in a lot of offices. I don't recall seeing anyone wear a skirt that short.
Just because it doesn't violate a dress code, doesn't mean it's OK to wear it. There are probably hundreds of things not specified in the rules that you shouldn't do. Many companies don't even have any official rules, but that doesn't mean anything goes.
Sure! Why not? Besides, that's not exactly short. I work in an office building where a few girls that work there wear skirts and dresses even shorter than that and nobody says anything about it... and it's a pretty heavily religious building! (Most people that work there believe in that bullshit.)

That doesn't look too short. It's hard to tell with her hands up at her waist though.
I work in a school. So I just try to follow the same dress code the kids have to. Technically I don't have to, but I feel it's only fair to them.
In an office setting, I'd say to take cues from the other women in the office. How much freedom to they exercise over what they can wear?I feel like in an office setting, a good length is just above the knee or longer. Maybe you can ask a coworker or someone else who works in that office what they think of the skirt of you really want to wear it. But that seems a little bit short for an office setting. However f you do wear it, I recommend wearing a pair of shorts underneith. My high school uniform had shirts exactly like the pic and we all wore shorts under just in case.
It is if you are confident and capable enough to silent the critics who have nothing to do in the world except poking their noses in other people's business
And well where i work i am not allowed to wear a skirt like that lol but instead i can only wear a micro skirt 😂😂it's a question to ask to your boss not on Gag, each company has different rules. on my floor, none would complain. on floor where HR sits, yes. other companies would take it differently... dress code doesn't ban, then it's ok, even if hot enough to distract men around.
yes it's ok... as long as it isn't against teh dress code and tbf that skirt in the pic isn't that short
but will point out that anyone who tries to imply any sexual issues concerning that type/length of skirt clearly has issues themselves...Depends on where you live. If short skirts in office isn't a big deal then you're good. If it's not and you're afraid it could cause distractions then better opt for something else. No need to make yourself uncomfortable.
Problem with women these days is that they even have to ask this kind of question. They're so used to walking around half naked normally so they don't even know what's appropriate in different settings (school, work etc)
Depends on the office guidelines. I personally would not wear something at that length but if you feel comfortable and the guidelines allow for it, then go for it.
It depends on job or office. If you work with male dominated work area. They will probably undies shots. I work jogger /sweatpants for work since I work in a garden area.
Yes.
Dress provocatively and make sure that all of your male coworkers hit on you.
Than you can sue for sexual harrassment.
You can make millions😂😂😂😂😂😂.
Don't dress like a whore if you're just going to act like a prude.
That's my message to young women. It's not that short. Often it's not the management that have the problem it's other women.
It's better not to, especially if the skirt is tight on top of being short. But even a just loose short skirt is kind of unnecessary and quite unprofessional in my opinion.
Too short for me. You need to cover more to show that you are there for serious business, not showing off.
It's fine. Just don't bend over in front of your boss when you've forgotten your panties. ;)
Although that skirt isn't too short, it might be frowned upon in a typical office environment.
Depends on the company, if it's more uptight, then maybe stick to dresses and skirts that go below the knees, if it's more casual, then sure go for it.

A skirt that short is not appropriate for a typical office environment.
Doesn't present any problems for me, if the company dress-code allows.
It depends on the job and office environment. For some itโs ok.
