What are their advantages over classic pantyhose?
Do you find them practical for everyday use?

I have a couple garters, some bloomers, some knee high socks, and some fish nets that I would only wear around at home, but I have never worn garter stockings. They are cute, and can be worn under a knee length skirt in professional settings or for ya man in a... not so professional setting. But I dont know if they have advantages over classic pantyhose, since classic pantyhose usually go up at least to my bellybutton or higher. Maybe they are a bit practical, but maybe not as much as pantyhose?

Haha sounds good! I dont like the cold too much because I grew up in the south and it gets hot down here lol. But that aside, it is nice to have something hug my waist, which is pretty high. I dont like wearing bras either, but it's a necessity, that's why I get bras without wire usually. I like my boobs, I mean why wouldn't i? I love soft things. But i dont like constraining thim with wire and fabric so I like to get bras that have just fabric and pads in them!

garter belt stockings feel nice to wear especially silk stockings they feel nice on your thighs luxorious feeling love the way they cling... but if you go to work you must wear panty hose... in theory you can but just not pratical... but every girl with nice legs should wear garter belts and stockings with a nice panty and bra set while wearing heels

Never in public, but I wear them in private. Classic pantyhose covers everything, which isn't as fun as wearing stockings that show off your skin. As for everyday use, I would say no.

I do recall asking a year ago what women preferred as I think stockings make more sense to me and look better. Most women prefer "tights". When I have worn them I found "tights" to not quite fit and be loose around the crotch, but obviously stockings don't have that issue. You can also keep a stocking if you ladder one leg, which you can't do with the others

I don't think they have any advantages over the classic one, only over the stay ups that never actually stay up for long, especially if active.

I don't think they are practical for everyday use, if wearing skirt and dresses during winter time i prefer the classic if the dress slides up I don't want people to see I am wearing a gartner, plus it is way cold for my private parts. And if I go to a party or go clubbing winter and wear a dress, I wouldn't wear a garter, but go bare legged.

And during summer I am all fore bare legs under the dress/skirts.

If wearing pants obliviously not as they will be seen through.

Only wearing them if I want to Spice it up and be extra sexy in the bedroom for my man or part of a lingerie costume.

Pantyhose are more practical and give a flawless look if you're wearing shorter skirts. Garters and stockings only work if you're wearing longer skirts and really are more appropriate for pre sex wear. Your partner has access to your neither region and you can keep on your sexy looking gear while having sex...

Not sure. But if there's ine thing I know with those is you put them on and then you wear your panties so you can go to the bathroom easier when you're out. But tights are probably nicer since they can be used to help keep you a bit warmer.

Yes, but it has been decades. With the garter you didn’t have to worry about sizes. The biggest advantage is if you get a run in one of them you just replace it with another one instead of throwing the entire pantyhose away!
