I recently got my hair dyed two weeks ago. I went from platinum blonde to brunette. When I went in I had some grown out roots of my natural color (dirty blonde). I paid a lot of money $200+ to get this done. I loved it the first few days but now it has faded extremely. She did two colors. A “dark brown” (which was actually black) on my roots and a pretty cool toned brunette on my ends. She claimed it looks more natural when the roots are darker. Now it has faded so much my ends are lighter and my roots are black with a red tint (my ends are cool toned with a green undertone). I also still have some strands of blonde she missed. I don’t want to pay that much money again and would like to try to fix it myself but i don’t know how to go about it. I want all of my hair the color of my ends. I have attached a photo of my hair when I first got it and what I asked for. The one of me and my friend (I am in the sheer top with the lighter skin color) is what it looked like the day I got it and the other is what I’m looking for/asked for. How can I get it back to that? Any professionals on here? Thank you
Call the clariol hotline. If you google hair color hotlines they can help you fix it. Unfortunately the person who did your hair didn’t do it properly. Light bleached hair must first be filled with red then dyed dark and sometimes it needs protein filler and clear sealer. If it’s already damaged they need to use olaplex or they might not be able to do that many procedures without it breaking. Also you might have to wash it with special shampoo and less frequently.
The bottom pic is my natural hair color. I went from that to blonde. I honestly think you hair looks good (maybe it’s just a good picture). I really don’t see much difference.
