It's how she feels about herself while wearing it is what's most important. If she feels good about it then she will wear it proudly and not consern herself with the opinions of others. If she's happy with it, then let her be happy with it. If her happiness revolves around what other people think of her then I believe she has an inferiority complex that needs to be addressed.
