I was reading recently that baggy jeans are back in Korea. Now you might so who cares about Korea but Asia is really the trend setting region when it comes to fashion right now from street ware and every day fashion. Most trends now start in Asia and slowly filter over the the west.

I don't like jeans. (rant) I don't understand the big deal? When I walk down a street, I see everyone wearing blue or black jeans with a white t shirt, and on some girls, cropped, even in the dead of winter. And in some cases (the horror!) ripped jeans with purposeful marks and holes!

What happened to sun dresses? Silk? Satin? Cotton? Floaty dresses, stiff dresses, long and short. Winter dresses? Long ones knitted and made of velvet. Every colour of the rainbow! Black dresses. And skirts? Knitted out of cashmere, silk, Scottish tartan. And trousers! Cigarette pants, knitted wide legs, flattering silk trousers that hug your butt. (do you sense my trauma)

Denim must go. It's restrictive, not breathable, and actually doesn't suit 70% of the people's body shapes who wear it. Okay that was a lot of anger... sorry.

I'm not really a fan of pants either but I wear them in the winter. They are too restricting for me. If I do wear pants I like them to be flowing more like long skirts.

If they want to bring them back then they will do so. What annoys me in the fashion industry though is that when a new trend comes up all other options magically disappear.
For example the last two years oversized was a trend. Well, I am 1,48 petite, I can't wear oversized. I look like I'm drowning in fabric.

There is no point in trying to force me to wear this, because I won't...
It took me a lot of time and effort to find a normal sweater.

Same with baggy jeans. I simply can't wear those, they make my legs disappear...

Wanna bring back or launch new trends, feel free to do so, but don't eliminate other options...

It was hard a couple summers ago when the dresses looked like the clothes that women used to wear around the house back in the 60s. They were what people used to call the mumu or shift. They redid it an market it as a new thing.

I'm too old for skinny jeans, and 'normal' jeans are just unfitting and unflattering. It seems like a thing in the US to wear unfitting clothes like that, and it looks so bad.

Totally I never liked skinny jeans and never wore them. I actually bought a pair of baggy unisex pants when I was there and I liked them a lot except that they're slightly too short cause nobody in Korea is as tall as me XDDDD

I don't want to look like what everyone else looks like, is wearing. I like my clothes to be my personal style, fit my personality. I don't let society into my closet.
