Is a girls nape hair attractive?

This is something that you makes me feel rather self-conscious because I have noticed it on other women and I remember quite clearly the first time I was aware of nape hair I think I panicked and went to the bathroom to see if my neck look like that.
My neck doesn't look like that but every once in awhile I always go back to the bathroom after seeing it on someone or like right now answering your message I checked in the mirror and when I pick up my hair I don't have that. I don't think I would like it for myself but at the same time I think women are allowed to have some hair around the hairline unlike men who have it trimmed and shaved.
However if I did have that hair along the side of my neck I believe I would shave it off.

I've never really given it much thought, but don't think it's necessarily unattractive. I think most people have it at least to some extent unless they shave it (although not everyone's looks like this), and when it comes to long hair I think it looks more natural to just leave it alone than to shave it (same with "sideburns"; I've known women with long hair who have tried to shave them, and it never looks right).

That “messy hair don’t care” look.. lol. I do it on occasion where I wear it in a sloppy bun with a bunch of Bobby pins and I can get away with it, but I prefer a clean, more polished, ballerina-type look, and.. so I’ll wear my hair with a side pony tail or a low bun or French braid. Nape hair is kinda a sign of hair breakage..

depends on the girl and the amount of hair in question that is like this. sometimes the just rolled out of bed look or just woke up look can be attractive. so long as she recently cleaned it maybe the night before hand. also reminds me of the just had crazy good sex hair style. much rather be with a girl who looks and seems more natural with her beauty. over one who is always trying to look perfect with makeup and other cosmetics.
