Guys vs Girls - Ladies, what style of panties do you prefer to wear? Guys, what style of panties do you like to see on women?

So I am curious to know how what women prefer to wear compares to what guys might prefer to see them in. I actually tried to do this as a poll but to split the answers how I wanted was too many options for what they allowed. I personally like women in either all lace cheekies or boyshorts. Something seriously sexy about lace boyshorts. Anyways, thought I would research this from both points of view and see how they compare. If you have a material preference, feel free to add an opinion with your material preference as well.

I’ve been wearing thongs since my early teens, even to doctor appointments and on PE days in school.

Yup. They work for me as underwear and swimwear. I can see how someone may not find them comfortable (some straps in the back can be a little snug), but once you find the right ones, bobs your uncle. Boy shorts and briefs are for running or the gym.

I don’t mind getting to stare at my guy in a thong or less. Boxers and briefs are unimaginative, and don’t tell me anything, just that you shop at a big box store and don’t care.

I only ever wear thongs. I have no idea why some women find them uncomfortable because I find them super comfortable. I have no idea how people can be uncomfortable in boyshorts or briefs, I find them ridiculously uncomfortable.

I hear that a lot from people on both sides of the thongs conversation. Some find them extremely comfortable while others do not. Maybe it depends on the type of thong they are wearing? Can't say I have experience on that one so ladies who do find them uncomfortable feel free to weigh in on this. But on that same token so many find boyshorts comfy instead of thongs. So clearly a personal preference which is the exact purpose of this question... to see the personal preferences between women themselves and also to see how those preferences compare to the preferences of men. Visually I guess a lace thong. Tbh though I feel thongs look completely ridiculous when they're taken off. Like I find myself thinking, what even is this stupidly small strip of cloth? That's why I prefer they keep it on during sex. Although crotchless panties may sound perfect for that, I feel it's much hotter to just push the cloth to the side and enter, especially for anal.
