Girls, Good Outfits for a First Date When you are Fat?

So I have a first data on Friday and I am kind of looking forward to it as it will be the first in a while.
Bad news is I gained a lot of weight during covid, on top of not being super skinny before, and now I am really big and not sure how to hide it for the date. I have also outgrown so many things I don't have a lot of clothes that still fit, so what should I wear?

Well I do have some black, but my only turtleneck is pretty tight on me. Maybe a black dress would be better?

Does it still fit and is it black? If so go for it with a jacket on top. Leather pants are perfect for hiding a bit of extra weight, do you own a pair? Trust me on this, you will look hot in this outfit.

Do you know what shape you are? Example hourglass, pear, apple etc? Then wear something flattering according to your shape in a darker colour. Accentuate you best feature.

Eh, not really sure how to describe it? I am pretty fat, but it is spread all over. I am a DD cup and I have a big ass, but I also have a huge gut :(

Stomach only?

What you see as fat, might be different from someone else.
Also, your body type and how the weight is distributed can have a huge effect on everything.

Even though you outgrew most, you still have some clothes.
You didn't mention if you needed to buy something new or if you had to find something in your closet that can be flattering still.

You don't give much information. You ask what to wear, but don't give options of what you have or ask for suggestions of what you can buy.

Ok, well I am 5'7" and 290 lbs so I think that is pretty fat. My waistline is 44" if I measure under my belly.

You can find flattering styles for your body.
If you don't feel like you have a waist, you can find a dress that goes loose after the breasts.
You can find a skirt that sits at the waist and a short shirt or top, accentuate your waist in that way.

You can also search for what others do and get some inspiration.
