If you think of some place like Cambridge in summer, it’s sandals and summer dresses nice light colours, then darker for evening summer wear with heels

The outfit is urbanly classy and sexy! It doesn't look innapropriate even if it is half way up the knee. you're obviously a tall girl and have a body that allows you to (ahem) fill out a corset like dress without needing straps.

For casual that is appropriate. Don't wear it to church or to meet your future in laws for the first time. It may not be right for work depending on what kind of work you do.

I like the bottom. Not sure I like the top as much. It looks like more of a "club" top. My opinion is a lighter colour like white would be better, but you do you.
