You can see a little stubble even a few hours after shaving. If you are asking how often do men shave to always be completely smooth, the answer is every day, typically every morning. Because by the next day you can clearly see some beard.

But if you are wondering how often do men, who like to keep a little bit of stubble, shave, then the answer is likely every 3-4 days. Because after that it tends to look messy. But when you leave some stubble, the growth over the days is not that noticeable, but if it gets longer it looks bad, because not all hairs grow at the same speed and/or at the same time, and because of that it may look like we have holes in our beard, and they are clearly visible after a few days of not shaving. Also, some men like to shave the neck clean every day, while leaving some stubble on the face, so there is that too..

You shave in the morning it's already starting to show by dinner time. That's why it's called a 5:00 shadow. If you leave it, it'll take at least a week or two for it to become an actual, but very short, beard. The longer you leave it, the longer it gets, but it'll take a long time for it get Z. Z. Top long.

I mean i have thick rough dark facial hair. I can't even really shave it smooth in the first place. Even with a straight razor or safety razor forget the disposable junk. If i get it smooth a few hours later its rough already. I usually buzz it short for facial hair with a 1 or 2 guard because i cannot maintain a shaved face. Then i shave edges and neck once or max 2x a week or else ill get rash or ingrown hairs.

Depends on who it is,
Some people could be once a week whereas, others could be daily.
Facial hairs usually grow at a similar pace to other pubic hairs so if you see a mans chest for example, how hairy it is can usually tell how you quick his hairs may grow. If its a lot of chest hair then his beard would grow pretty quick.
(also remember some people are incapable of growing hair in some places and if they can may take longer than any other hair)

everyone is different. I still can't grow a bear and im 34. where some guys will grow a beard 6hours after a clean shave. no one size fits all.

it has much more to do with hormonal production and flow, than individuality.
