Honestly, to me, it's confidence. I've dated men (and women) of all different body types and consistently the people I am most physically attracted to are the ones who are confident and happy. I don't care if they have a big belly or jiggly arms, or if they're thin and wirey, or jacked and muscley - it doesn't really matter. What matters is that they're happy, they're comfortable and they can love themselves.

99% of attraction (to me) is personality. And studies support that. They've shown that in the majority of cases people who got to know each other before seeing each other and liked each other/fell in love, disregarded their usual preference and saw their partner as just as desirable. If we're getting along, if you're making me laugh and laughing at my jokes if we bring each other joy, if we have a good time together then I'll find you physical attractive.

The only time I've ever been blown away just by looking at someone is bad-ass women. Especially bad-ass middle aged or older women. I have a type when it comes to women and it is very obvious. But otherwise no one really catches my eye. And even those women, they need to follow it up with real personality or they just become 'eh yeah, I thought she'd be really cool but...'

In terms of physical fitness, I tend to go for a man who is more sinewy than steroidal if that makes sense. Like a climber or martial artist, rather than a gym junkie.

Sophistication and discernment is important. I can tell a man is sophisticated and discerning from his attention to detail - his manners, deportment, demeanour, dress sense. I can usually gauge all this almost instantly.

Confidence and an open heart are also very attractive.
