For example I have been called pretty by other people in my life who I were not related to mutiple times but I still don’t feel it

I think I'm cute at most.
I have been called pretty only by relatives and some folks but that rarely happens nowadays so I kind of don't know where I stand.

No, I'm under no false illusions that I'm no oil painting but I couldn't care less because I very rarely tolerate people who are vain enough to judge people based on their looks.

Ref Update: Beauty is subjective. You have been called pretty (even though you don't think so) because those people find you pretty. Just like some won't. That is a fact of life.
