Are these skirts immodest and trashy?

Hey guys, I know I asked a similar (not identical) question yesterday, but I just wanted to ask your opinion. My boyfriend says that these skirts are immodest and that only w**es wear them to swing their hips and show their legs and underwear. Do you agree with him? I mean they are relaxed/loose fit, not tight and the fabric is non-transparent, I don't see what's so bad about them. The first one might be a bit short (although on me, it would be on knee length, because I'm shorter than the model on the pic), that's the only bad thing I see

In comparison to what girls wear these days, these skirts are definitely modest and have decent coverage. Even the shorter one goes right to the knees.

The one in first pic is also fine. I prefer skirts till minimum length of mid thighs (I have long legs so yeah it isn't super short for me).
